Don't know if any of you here play or have played EVE-online but here is an absolutely amazing fan vid. He got some help from CCP with software and a voiceover but still...

Now if only it was actually like that.

You mean you don't enjoy waiting over a year for even slightly decent skills and good ship, only to be ganked by gate campers the second you leave high sec?! Or getting stuck on the other side of a wormhole unable to find a way back aside from podding yourself... I mean come on... what's not to love?

Seems pretty neat, my boyfriend who plays liked it.

I've never had that problem. My problem is the mind-numbing boredom that comes from poorly implemented game mechanics that allow complete invulnerability. For example: local chat being a free intel tool, which allows WTs to immediately dock as soon as you enter the system.
Once I actually get into it, I tend to have great amounts of fun, even if I lose. My CEO and I were running WH space a couple nights ago and having the time of our lives.
Oh, and it's completely impossible to become stuck in WH space.
Option 1: Fit a probe launcher. Use probe launcher to get out of WH system, assuming your buddy DCed.
Option 2: If with someone that has a probe launcher, make sure you jump first rather than them. (If the WH collapses, they can find their own way out rather than being stuck. You, without a probe launcher, don't have that luxury.)
