issue with the people wanting relax nudist laws:
QUOTE
"I agree," mused sociology professor Billy-Bob Licorish. "But I don't think the protestors are going far enough. Public nudity shouldn't be an option: it should be compulsory. Nudity is highly liberating. And it would put that disgusting "Hooters" out of business once and for all."

The Issue

Commentators have warned that IronRealms's social inequalities threaten to make it an international pariah.
The Debate

1. "Look, I don't like it either," said Chamber of Commerce spokesperson Hope Summers. "Just on the way here, I had to step over three homeless people, and one of my shoes got caught on a beggar. But inequality is the price we pay for economic strength. If anything, we need fewer taxes, so those of us who are well-off can afford to be more generous. If we want to, that is."

You know guys, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm already bored with NS. It's just the same game I played 5 years ago, and that's not getting my motor running.

However... there IS a NationStates 2. I just checked it out and it's way different from NS1, with things like diplomacy, trading, economy and wars hard-coded into the game itself, it's not just for show.

Since we're all pretty much just starting out again, I think we should all migrate over to NS2 before we put too much effort into our NS1 nations.

The Holy Empire of Zinzeredia -- World 4.

The Holy Empire of Zinzeredia is a tiny, moderate nation, remarkable for its harmony between citizens and politicians. Its population of 1.00 million citizens have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often. The average national tax rate is 25.00%.

A multitude of tap, swing, and hip-hop schools have added classes for the lesser primates. Sheep roam the roads dodging cars and amorous farmers. Lumberjacks have been roaming the streets informing passerbys that they are, in fact, "okay."

How am I supposed to wage war on Kahseeloosians(?) in parallel dimensions?

Location: The Basin of Life

Regional Influence: Truckler

The Free Land of Shroomieland is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its ban on automobiles. Its compassionate population of 18 million enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Public Transport and Education are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 69%, and even higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Cheese Exports.

Voting is voluntary, meat-eating is frowned upon, and cars are banned. Crime is totally unknown. Shroomieland's national animal is the mushroomeater, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the shroom.

Shroomieland is ranked 8th in the region and 13,115th in the world for Largest Public Sector.

...I want to live here. All my needs provided for in a utopian, vegan society. With shrooms. Yeah.
Casilu2009-04-22 05:43:16
I'd say one with a larger capacity, Vhaas. Like 80.
