So if Vathael has permission, is there any potential you'd sell a package of it on a one off basis or what not? Not worried about future updates or anything. I'd just like my hands on Palisade as I've already a license for Zmud and it's what I'm most familiar with.

Thoros, Shuyin, Desitrus (I think), Vathael, Krellan, Romero, Revan, Shikha, and though I'm not really in their league, I use ZMUD as well. Plenty of combatants use ZMUD. From what I can tell, it's not the lag beast if the system's coder knows what they are doing.
There are a few solid systems still on ZMUD, it's just a question of if you can get the creators to give them to you.
As Vathael said, all for sale or free systems will need customization, and a basic knowledge of coding is required. (or know a few generous coders)
