Truth. Glom IS doing better as of late, from what I can tell.

oh btw, what stops seren from applying harmony to seren, and then chaos to moondancers, or to elfen?

Nothing.
There are three blessings (potentially) per domoth. As long as each domoth's blessing level's target isn't the same as its rival's, everything's peachy.
Daganev2009-04-08 20:42:16
So why are people treating this change as if it gives Celest domoths?
Simimi2009-04-08 20:43:56
I think the Celest part was just a small example of what could happen, in theory. Like if Seren can't have Major Harmony AND Major Chaos, then someone has to have Major Chaos... might be Celest!
Or so that is how I read their argument.

Perhaps kick-and-run is wrong formulation, but I'm pretty sure that if you used that same force, you could actually attack Serenwilde and do something to them. Sure, Kephera attacked you way in the past, but so has Mag and Celest, and Serenwilde brought down the Drums and Crow more recently. I'm just annoyed because to me it seems like just an easy kick in the teeth for those who put in work to raise the Queens. Everyone wants em alive, but almost no one bothers to do anything to keep em alive.
And the reason I raised them is because I'm sick of having the Tahtetso not integrated into Celest, and nobody doing anything to recitify that. I wanted to get up the Queen so that the Tahtetso could get down there and have a chat with them on their virtues and such. Though so far it seems that I have to do that too.
After I raise the Queens again. Stupid nonresponsive mobs.

5-8 people aren't killing Avatars, and against the numbers we'd be up against in Seren at the time we had them... well. Again, that wasn't likely to be a rousing success. We might've gotten a Lady or two, or we could have killed some novices on Prime. Exciting.
On the other hand, we have something tailored for those numbers which you've so thoughtfully provided in order to give orgs more to work with. We're taking advantage, even if Celest isn't.
PS: Nowhere near 'everyone' wants them alive... which should be pretty obvious by now...

But "seren" can have Major Harmony AND Major Chaos. (well some segment of the seren population can)

I'm just happy you can't turn a single race into the god race.

You're right. But Elfen can no longer have +2 intelligence, +2 charisma, +3 random stat, increased experience, increased willpower and willpower regen, +2 STR, +2 con, and increased endurance and endurance regen.
Elfen can only have one or the other - +2 int OR +2 Cha, +3 Random stat OR increased experience, increased willpower OR +2 STR, +2 con OR increased endurance.
It majorly helps cut down on the highly buffed domoth races, or one guild having all the blessings, or one city/commune having all the major blessings.
Sure, Serenwilde could just give the extra majors to Celest, or not use them, or sell them. It's up to them!

No.
Major blessings are for a city or commune. No "seren" can be in more than one org/commune at a time, and therefore can not have the benefit of opposing major blessings.

The only thing that can be domoth stacked now is a guild.

That's unfortunate. Seren's demis/ascendants are just more selfless? And Shuyin was holding on to a few, when I checked a couple days ago.
It's more a matter of lifestyle. Desitrus, Malicia, Nydekion, Catarin, and I go through periods of activity and inactivity constantly. As our lives are in flux, we are in flux. My workload changes dramatically from month to month. This summer, I likely won't be in Lusternia at all. As a result when we are here, we don't like spending it doing grinding tasks. Furthermore I know that all of us have held Domoths, gotten really busy with work/school/whatever, and ended up losing them entirely as a result because the day we needed to log back in, we just weren't able.
EDIT:
Of course, there were the good ole days where we were here all the time, and we could more easily dominate. Sadly, we're growing up!

When I was active, I held my two. When I was losing interest in the game, burning myself out by holding a domoth would have only brought my inactivity that much quicker. Now that I can't be bothered to play Monksternia, well, go Serens go.

Incorrect. I realize there's two right now with the same guild (it didn't retroactively remove them), so I'll give the ascendants a day or two to fix it or I'll unset the blessings manually.

Oh, I took the announce to mean city/commune only when it said organization, not guilds as well, should probably clarify.
