Oh yeah, and that. My Korean friend tells me it's cheesy, but good. I can live with that. Also it's about assassins so that's cool. Way better than Reiha's POS usage angry.gif

Why so angreeeehh? And what does POS stand for, Point of Sale??

And I got a list of doctors for my RL name... and cartoons/game/manga for Reiha.
kiriwe2009-04-15 04:23:14
I searched Kiriwe and the first hit was my profile here n_n

then, I got this: http://www.netarts.org/mcmogatk/1996/jp23g...pen_sesame.html

I am a member of several business boards, owner of a few businesses, and a former CEO of Take-Two Interactive.

Tossing in my middle initial gives a handful of results, mostly from me. Both of my characters are apparently common last names.
Kharvik2009-04-16 01:30:50
No one else has my name.

The first result was my facebook and the next 3 each disclosed my physical address, home phone, and cell phone numbers. sad.gif
Isuka2009-04-16 15:18:17
.... When I searched for my name, several images of tombstones bearing my surname came up on the quick-search image section...
Noola2009-04-16 15:56:05
I looked up my name with quotes cause otherwise it would just be a combination of an extremely common first name and a last name that is a very common word and there were 5,200,000 results.

With the quotes, there were 467 results. The first page had ten of them, and only two of those had anything to do with me. The others were other folks who happen to have the same first and last name as me. Including an Associate in a law firm, someone who graduated from East Side Highschool, someone who graduated from Wiscasset High School, and the creater of a company called La Compagnie des Trois Oranges.
Esano2009-04-16 16:00:06
Pansies.

22,000,000 results with my first and last name, no quotes. 29,700,000 if I add in my middle name.

305,000 with my first and last name in quotes, but only 121 if I add my middle name in the quotes.
Unknown2009-04-16 16:02:51
With my name in quotes, I have only one instance of a result that isn't me. This, strangely enough, includes a submission for a 'what do you think will happen next in the story' deal that I seem to have written in when I was really young, which is.. scary in its own way.

Then again, I guess Chinese name combinations are more varied!
Gwylifar2009-04-16 16:48:24
If I don't include my middle initial and don't put it in quotes, I get about a quarter of the hits being me (I've had an Internet presence since around 92 with sporadic appearances before then), with the rest divided up between a congressman in Michigan and a screenwriter in LA who share my last name (not sure if they're related), and a spread of various other things (including an uncle of mine who has the same first name, too, and who is a published pianist).

When I put my middle initial in and put it in quotes, it's pretty much all me: roleplaying games I've published, sites I've hosted, software I've produced, FAQs I've edited (even one going back to the late 1980s on C-Band TV), posts on tech support fora and Usenet, etc. There's also, I'm amused to note, an obituary for me... well, not me, but someone with the same name, including middle initial, born in 1937. Funny that that's the only other person with the same full name that I get a hit on in the first few pages. Or more to the point, that this is all he gets noted for. I wonder if his relatives wonder who I am.

Incidentally 927 hits with my full name in quotes, and 62,900 with just my first and last without quotes.

(If I search on this character name, every hit is Lusternia, including one with a bit of revisionist history (i.e., lies) posted by one of my detractors on his own site, and the rest all of my own origin.)
Unknown2009-04-18 22:16:34
There are 43 results for my character name. Most of them link back to the Lusternia forum. The rest involve a guy from Virginia with a knife fetish, a WoW character (not me), and a renaissance/pirate reenactor.

There are some 84,000 results for my real name. None of which seem to link back to me. At least not in the first 20 pages of results. The majority of them relate to two authors. One whom wrote a self-published book about the Shroud of Turin. The other writes about the history of famous English naval vessels.
Unknown2009-04-18 23:33:14
My name in quotes generates two results - one is a social networking site (something like Facebook but local) and the other one is one of my uni professor's site on which I'm listed.
When I add in my middle name, there are no results.
Unknown2009-04-30 16:47:35
When I put in my name in quotes, I get only one result, and on a blog that no longer exists. If I remove my surname, all that I find are blog posts that really are about me (and are fascinating to read as I didn't know people actually blogged about me). Chinese names do have a lot more combinations, although mine is a spelling variation of an extremely common name combination (Teochew instead of the usual Hokkien or Hanyu Pinyin translation).

Edit: As for Caerulo... first result is here. The rest talk about caerulo-plasmin, which apparently is a protein used to help diagnose Wilson's disease.
Unknown2009-04-30 17:21:10
Results 1 - 10 of about 52,800

Top 3 hits on Google are me.
Gaetele2009-05-01 19:20:48
1670 hits with my name (no middle) in quotes, none of which are me.
0 hits with my name (with middle) in quotes.
1820000 hits with my name (no middle) no quotes.
16200 hits with my name (with middle) in quotes.

Gaetele either returns a lot of profiles of me on forums across the Internet (a lot of which I only signed up for to download attachments) or some random Eastern European sites.
Aerotan2009-05-01 22:33:34
Apparently my real name is shared with a photographer and an actor of some sort fromthe 90's. Go figure.

That and apparently a few hits on Facebook, only one of which is me.
Unknown2009-05-02 08:29:08
When I added my Christian name (what you guys call first name), I got 'No results found for " censor.gif ".' dazed.gif
Meliana2009-05-02 09:41:31
My first, last, and middle are all pretty common I get:

Jonas2009-05-07 18:11:18
With my name in quotes, 121 hits.

Without quotes, 2,980.

All of the results were about me, though...me, or some other person with my name in Alabama.
Saaga2009-05-07 18:20:53
I get no-one but myself for my full name (first name and last name). I feel special!
Gartinua2009-05-08 07:18:13
Without quotes I get 19,500,000 which I'd expect having a pretty common name and a surname that is a proper word.

With quotes I get 47,700 and probably 2/3rds of those are me, maybe more.

I do like how there is some guitarist that looks pretty cool that has my name, makes a more interesting when the youtube results appear with that dude there.

My character name only gives a tiny 9 results, all of either this forum or the one on ToP
