They probably will be significant once we see them happen again (or once we see one of them stop for a night.) It means we can better ID which group (mafia or SK) didn't get a kill for whatever reason.
Jack2009-04-22 08:41:03
Why do you people post seven pages of crap while I sleep?
Jack2009-04-22 08:47:19
Okay, it doesn't look like we've got anything concrete to go on yet, but my gut says to watch Arix and Shaddus.
Saaga2009-04-22 08:49:00
What does SK stand for?
Jack2009-04-22 08:49:15
Serial killer.
Saaga2009-04-22 08:52:02
Figures!
Arix2009-04-22 09:00:18
SK is an unaligned role that has a 'last man standing' win condition. As opposed to the vigilante who is just a townie with a nightkill. Also, I think SK's are REQUIRED to make a kill each night, but I don't speak from personal experience so I could be wrong
Shaddus2009-04-22 09:19:52
Wait, your gut says to watch me.... why?
Jack2009-04-22 09:20:53
Arix2009-04-22 09:52:46
Wait, why Shaddus?

Geez, I said I had nothing concrete to go on. It's not like I'm voting for you guys.

Just trying to encourage conversation

Sho nuff. It's always a case of jumping at shadows, voting randomly and honing in ruthlessly on scum tells on day one, I guess. I thought we'd at least be able to do a bit of WMG with the help of the letters-linking-to-occupations motif, but it looks like that's not going to be possible.
Unknown2009-04-22 10:38:50
WMG?
I guess no one has any helpful information from night zero.

That tends to happen when the investigator is killed

"wild mass guessing".
And yeah...the doctor, roleblocker, investigator are all out for the count (if we even have all those, can't get cocky.)
Jack2009-04-22 11:08:03
It seems awfully convenient for the scum that they managed to bump off two of the most useful town roles in the first night. Think it's possible they have their own variety of investigator?
Arix2009-04-22 11:13:45
It's more likely that they picked those two because they are experienced players who have both played and modded several mafia games

There isn't a lot of reason to believe this just yet. It's entirely possible, but 1) if they had an investigator, they normally would make all night decisions simultaneously and not investigate THEN decide who to kill, and 2) they would have to have gotten lucky to investigate the cop/gaelor anyway even if that wasn't the case so you haven't actually explained anything away with that.
(plus mafia groups rarely have 2 kills, a 2nd group, for example SK, probably got lucky.)

Morning!
I get off work and there is 16 posts, I wake up in the morning and there are 139. About half of which actually contribute anything. For the record, I'm still having issues getting online, so if I'm quiet, it's not willingly.
As of right now, I have my eye on Arix and Daganev.
