Given the fact I agreed that fearaura should be changed. I even said that Shuyin's suggestion was the best possible on there, it would indicate I am not throwing a fit over fearuara being changed.

Once again, proving a point by showing the ridiculousness of a thread title being one thing and the thread itself being "nerf them" is not a tantrum. Though, it's understandable that people on forums fall onto the tantrum/raging line anytime someone disagrees with them or points out the fact that a thread they made was really aimed at one thing while trying to hide it behind another.

I don't think a fourm ban would be civil, perhaps just block all the stupid threads made ever including this one and we'll do fine.

The "tantrum" stems from a flurry of posts demanding nerfs without an explanation beyond "NERF SKILL. OBVIOUS DISPARITY" in an attempt to make a not so subtle point that Malicia is a meanie because she's trying to nerf your commune skills.

Not all tantrums involve kicking and screaming, but they do share one common thread. The person behind them acting childish.

I suppose it can be surmised that the cities just don't want to lose their precious skills, since it is afterall all the city players who are avoiding the actual issues and the commune players who are agreeing to them.

Also, you are quite correct, I am an envoy. That is probably why myself and other envoys have been discussing these very issues and how to handle them. It doesn't change the fact that you yourself, claiming to seek balance, choose to ignore, discredit, and devolve into "it's just a tantrum and he should be banned" instead of discussing that balance that you claim you seek.

I'm just so amused atm. I could care less if laetitia/beckon/magelock were nerfed. If a childish tit-for-tat is what you seek, here ye shall not find it. I don't feel those abilities are overpowered, but you're free to disagree. I stand by my opinion of fearaura. The same opinion I've had of it since the skillset was released.

And it's a little sad that a legitimate suggestions thread ended in the inevitable biased arguments/rants, and only a tiny amount of helpfulness. Would it be possible to start over and compile a list of helpful suggestions, if that's important?
