He should really be banned. I've gotten warned for far less.

Don't get me wrong, I know he's pissed because Serenwilde lost a domoth and he thinks it's because of skills he may or may not have. But three plus threads on how these skills should be nerfed?

These threads are, on the whole, also valid concerns. Not quite as combat-centered as Fearaura, but still imbalances. Why are you pretending otherwise? Because it diminishes the impact of your own?

They are, in the end, close enough.

Unless I misunderstand from reading a couple threads for a few minutes, Gregori is throwing a hissy fit because people want to nerf the communes' total fear aura immunity.

And yet, at the same time, these are valid concerns.

And are as much a "hissy fit" as the Fearaura thread.

Are you serious? I refuse to take him seriously right now. He seems to be having a huge baby-tantrum. Let him have it. Or do you want me to actually go down a list of abilities and advantages communes have that should be changed to make things completely even with the city-side? None of that has anything to do with fearaura, which all orgs have access to.

Can't we fix fearaura and all the problems he raised instead of attacking him?

I am pissed because we lost a domoth? Uh, try again. I could care less that we lost a Domoth. If I was that concerned about it I would have upgraded it at 4am instead of going to sleep.

Taking actual issues and turning them into ridiculous sugestions opposite the thread title has nothing to do with anger. It has to do with showing the ridiculousness of a situation. In this case 'fearaura is op. We should nerf wolf totem'

I do find it funny though that actual balance issues are used (ones that have been complained about previously) and the same people who claim 'they are seeking balance' are quick to jump to the 'he should be banned' or 'he is just raging' line, when it is in fact their skills being discussed now.

He didn't raise any real problems though. I could similarly quibble about a dozen strengths that communes have over cities. I doubt he even really cares about these 'problems'. Like I said before, he's just throwing a fit over the fearaura suggestions.

I see the debating problem he mentioned as a "real problem".

Don't get me wrong, I don't get along with Gregori. In fact, I'm pretty sure he hates me and would like nothing more than to cut me open and fry me over an open fire. But if I think he has at least one valid point -- and he does, in my opinion -- I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with him, regardless of any predispositions.

He may be throwing a fit, he may not be. The only one who can really know that is him. The fearaura discussion raised valid concerns. Regardless of his sincerity, he also raised valid concerns. And that's just the fact of the matter.
