Of course not. That would be too easy, too mechanically sound. Humans are inapt to thrive in such environments of sterile perfection- whining would ensue to counter-balance! (I'm just being sassy)
S-still... would it really be so awful if your lv. 100 character has the same stats as the other races? :zip:

Notice how it's mostly combatants that get 100, even with all those RP advantages we're thinking about, I'm the RPers would rather RP than bash up to 100 for those benefits. If I'm grinding for that long, I damn well better get something out of it.

You could still get something without being elevating so far beyond the statistic combat threshold. The idea is that for combat's sake you wouldn't have to bash up that high. Unless I suddenly become inspired, I will never get Demigod myself, being an occasional player that I am. I still want to be able to use the credits and artifacts I bought without being subject to two-shots. A lot of people are probably in the same boat. Not to degrade the idea of a level system at all, but the easier it is to play Lusternia around the table, the more custom and retention you will have.
-all on the premise that Demigod matters as much as they say, but from the logs I've read and material I've browsed it seems much meaner than Imperian's Aspects, which in my opinion were good enough.

I know I'll never get to Demi, and I blow alot of people out of the water in terms of play time. If you're getting two-shotted, you're doing it wrong. I didn't even get two-shotted as a faeling at nearly inept resilience, virt psymet against demiwarriors.
Played : 232 days, 4 hours, and 6 minutes
