For those of us who love taking baths and such, can't we please allow Artisans to make sinks, bathtubs and so on so we can build bathrooms into our manses?

I'm thinking that using sinks and such to clean yourself will remove all cleanse cures (slickness, mud, stink, sap, ectoplasm). And... hmm I'll admit that I don't know how long they already last, but perhaps make it so that you can fill perfumes into the sink/bathtub/whatever and it'll be applied while bathing and last twice as long?

I dunno, just a random idea I got.

I like to RP, but I just don't see myself RPing taking a bath or washing my hands.

I would put a bathroom in my floating fortress. Just to have a bathroom in a floating fortress.

Bathing places of some sort would be neat. And I don't mean a tub or a sink, I'm thinking more along the lines of Roman stuff or public baths.

There's a bathhouse on Spectre Island, no? And a hot-springs feeding a bathing area in Shikari's temple.

There was supposed to be a cold one too, but he never got around to building that one.

There is one in Celest as well I seem to recall.

No one ever uses it, which totally takes the fun right out of it. I am so going to have to use it more now. People should hang out there instead of the Pool all the time.

But people are naked there. *shudder* I hate public baths.

That's kind of the whole point...

Upon reflection, I've decided to REFUSE TO MAKE THESE THINGS OR VOTE FOR THEIR EXISTANCE until the Charites approve mirrors. I've already designed one, they just have to approve the base design.

It makes no difference to me, really... naked or dressed. When I draw I don't always draw them with their clothes on anyways.

You know, you could potentially have some very interesting (and strictly platonic ) roleplay in a bathhouse setting - and I am quite serious. It is one thing to serve the city and mind your lords and ladies, and another entirely to bump into them without your towels. It could be a sort of social buffer if you will, stripping men and women down to the bare essence of their characters!

The more you know about them, the more innovative your roleplay together!
