is Bali going to post?

Hi. Not that large!
Sorry everyone. Been procrastinating about this game, finally got around to reading it (I've had the window open for awhile ). Few things jump out at me, but first I'm gonna do a player rundown, you can think of it what you will seeing as these are just my opinions:
Shiri - Just being Shiri, accompanied by his normal circular logic and squibblish posting style.
Daganev - Just being Daganev, seems somewhat town (as evidenced by the morning message), paranoid about Shiri, as usual.
Shaddus - Most of his posts thus far have been "Wut" and "Ok I'll bandwagon dat", not liking him so far.
Kiradawea - Guessing she isnt actually playing, Shamarah is using her to inject himself into the game somehow, by telling her what to post. Writing style is very similar to Shams.
Llandros - Eager noob. Not getting the huge scum signals from him others have posted.
Zynna - Scummy as hell. I dont like one of her posts. Possible scum partner with Solanis?
Solanis - Some good points have been made against her(him?). Has put up a weak defense thus far.
Kiriwe - A little standoffish and distant. Dont have any solid feelings about her.
Silferras - Defensive and meticulous. That combo usually equals scum, but she hasnt set off any sirens in my head yet.
Archer2 - He's afk, dont have any opinions on him.
Serella - Irritating. Dumb or Scum, as the saying goes. No offense meant to Serella, but I just hate being put in the situation where I have to vote for someone because of blatantly horrible play. Their only defense being either newbie or acting silly. Gonna ignore her for now.
Arix - Reactionary, posturing, predatory. I keep getting the feeling that he's trying in his posts. Something seems off. Maybe I'm reading inbetween the lines incorrectly here, but he doesnt seem to be acting like normal Arix.
Diamondais - Null tell atm. The infidel comment was blown out of proportion, imo. She has been a little flip-floppy though.
Myrkr - Eh. Dont like how she confirmed Obama only after someone (kiriwe) suggested it. Not really a townie tell in this game. She also pseudo-ninja-lynched d1. Which I do not like.
Casilu - Oh no the fabled day power usage day one! Fact of the matter is, nobody has died. Nothing has resulted from it. We dont even know if its legit. She's been scumhunting and defending herself quite well I think. Null tells.
Furien - Reactionary, null tell. Defensive playstyle so far, possibly scum partner with Solanis?
Rika - Strong townie play so far, active scumhunter. Game is still early though. I like her.
Esano - Decent poster so far. Null tells. More posturing than scumhunting though.
Reiha - Ugh. -backhand-
Aerotan - Huh? He's playing?
Fania - Huh? She's playing?
So pulling a name from the Pool of People I Do Not Likeâ„¢ I'm gonna have to go with Myrkr. The ninja lynch vote, only going with obama after it was suggested, ehhhh, I just dont like. Maybe this is a vengeance vote from the Pokemanz game, maybe it isnt. Either way its what I'll go with right now.
Vote: Myrkr

what do you mean, I'm trying in my posts?
Shiri2009-05-10 07:26:52
That is not what circular logic means.
And a power that seemingly does nothing used at the beginning of day 1 for no obvious reason equals "distraction" more than "nothing either way."

Its like you're actually trying to make points, not just be inane like usual.
Its disconcerting!

Also your claim about Kiradawea sounds way off, the writing style is more like hers than Sham's.

I felt bad about how horribly I did last game and am trying to do better by actually having reasons for my votes.

QUOTE
Circular Reasoning – supporting a premise with the premise rather than a conclusion.
Circular reasoning is an attempt to support a statement by simply repeating the statement in different or stronger terms. In this fallacy, the reason given is nothing more than a restatement of the conclusion that poses as the reason for the conclusion. To say, “You should exercise because it’s good for you†is really saying, “You should exercise because you should exercise.â€
It shares much with the false authority fallacy because we accept these statements based solely on the fact that someone else claims it to be so. Often, we feel we can trust another person so much that we often accept his claims without testing the logic. This is called blind trust, and it is very dangerous. We might as well just talk in circles.

Hmmm. I'm gonna go check back on the carebears game later because if Balizar's assessment is right Arix might be one of those "flails wildly without any additional info" players.

Hey, Bali likes me. Is that a good or bad thing?
I'll wait for Solanis' partner to reveal themselves (or not) before deciding where to go from there. While mason is a daring role for scum to claim, I really don't buy that he doesn't know much about his partner.

No I don't. You're getting confused with "people not understanding someone and thus having to explain it in a slightly different way." It isn't circular logic if you're repeating something unless you're attempting to use "X = Y, therefore Y = X" begging-the-question style arguments as evidence.
I will take "quibble" (not squibble) on the basis that details are important and I don't like people trying to brush over them (yes I realise this contrasts with my blatant inability to count votes sometimes but that's another issue)

Agree with this.

@Bali: I am a he! Also, I'm not sure how I should put up a stronger defence. I've stated the facts. That's it.
I agree with the Zynna posts, but she is NOT my buddy.

Nor do I, but her idiom and sentence structure and stuff seem like the same as in the Smash Bros. game. Shamarah is much more, hmm, straightforward isn't the word I'm looking for because it's not like Kiradawea is particularly roundabout, but it's something like that. Either way I think you need to reevaluate Kiradawea if you're coming up with conclusions like that.
Diamondais2009-05-10 07:40:15
Bali, you confused me by posting the same time I did.
I was wondering where people were replying to.
