No. No it hasn't.
Well, not anymore, really, since most people are aware of it now, but still, vote order is important.

I think Fania's at nine now, so someone on the train should probably unvote so that some scum clown can't 'accidentally' ninja-lynch.
Esano2009-05-14 13:31:28
Fania really needs to roleclaim. She's what, one from a lynch?
Saying you're too tired to post, then getting into a discussion (complete with finger-pointing) over a simple point (VA/VT) doesn't really fit. Sounds more like you're trying to get a reason to not speak up. This, combined with the defensiveness when called out, really draws your attention.
But still, ninja lynches are BAD. Just to make sure everyone gets it:
NO ONE VOTE UNTIL SHE HAS A CHANCE TO DEFEND HERSELF.
I'd recommend one or two people unvote anyway, just in case. Unless I've been ninja'd by this point and someone has. There are that many people willing to vote for her, just not willing to ninja lynch her.
And I've never trusted the "scum vote third" thing - although I think Daganev(?) swears by it. There was someone, at least. An indecisive townie is as likely to leap on bandwagons as a scum, perhaps more so if the scum is watching their own vote patterns carefully.
As for the Kiradawea thing? I'd like to think she's trying to spice up a boring role by inserting her own brand of crazy, and hopefully that's all it is.
And no, I haven't voted. I don't think I've voted the entire game (might need to check), although the closest I got (where there weren't several other people already voting) was probably the Shaddus thing (although there's since been some discussion about that and such).

For two games after I explained the whole thing, we still had scum voting 3rd on day one.
I love when people say the theory doesn't work because they don't pay attention to the voting pattern. Infact, the theory only doesn't work when people ARE aware of what number they are voting. I have found and lynched 3 scum in 3 different games because of this theory. 3rd vote alone isn't the tell, there are other factors as well that have to be taken into account.
Fania, where are you?

I agree that she's been rather uncharacteristic despite her own admission that she's been work-tired - she seems to post as much in other threads!
I haven't posted anything that really requires a deep amount of thought in those other threads. Replying to the last post in a thread and reading everything, thinking it over, and then posting something that makes sense isn't really an easy thing.
Anyways my character is Frodo from The Lord of the Rings. I can protect someone every night by giving them my ring. I didn't think it was so bad that I couldn't talk so much, cause people who can protect are supposed to stay under the radar a bit.
I wasn't feeling well, so I got up late today. When Esano posted it was 6:30am my time... I'm not getting up that early just to role claim you insane people.
Daganev2009-05-14 18:16:29
Who did you give your ring to?
Daganev2009-05-14 18:17:26
unvote
Fania2009-05-14 18:27:19
I gave it to Reiha cause I didn't think she was scum.
Daganev2009-05-14 18:32:02
each night?
Fania2009-05-14 18:41:32
Ah, I forgot about the first night. I didn't do anything that night because there was that aura of peace.
Zynna2009-05-14 18:46:39
Myrkr was a doctor too....does it make sense that there would be two pro-town doctors this game?
Zynna2009-05-14 18:47:10
But, as we think this through:
Unvote
Unvote
Daganev2009-05-14 18:57:13
Fania, does giving somebody the ring prevent them from doing thier night action? Since I assume they are now invisible?
Reiha, did you get any confirmation regarding the ring?
Reiha, did you get any confirmation regarding the ring?
Fania2009-05-14 19:00:35
She wouldn't. If I messed up and gave it to scum I didn't want them to link it to me, so I asked Shamarah about it first.
Daganev2009-05-14 19:19:42
well dammit, that makes no sense....
Daganev2009-05-14 19:20:10
Would it prevent reiha from doing anything at night?
Daganev2009-05-14 19:21:44
wait, do you give the ring to a different person each night? What happens if you don't give the ring away?

It the ring isn't used no one gets protected with the ring.
