Just gave an Auronisphere to Pog on the facility for the experience reward. To put it bluntly, it was crap.

00.24% and 10% Karma gain, at level 87 as a Human with Harmony blessing for something which could have been used to power a construct for a day or sold for a tidy sum of gold. The karma gain from the quest is unnecessary and the xp gain should be boosted considerably to make this option worthwhile. Getting hold of the damn things is hard enough.

The amount of xp/gold gained depends on how many charges on the auronisphere. A fully charged sphere will give xp equivalent to about 10 spectres.

When I tested months ago, it gave 700 experience base for a 100% efficent sphere. This is the gain after the increase. Keep in mind this is also with human and harmony blessings, already nearly as high a bonus as you can get.

I think the karma gain should be gotten rid of and the quest should give a pure experience gain. Esteem can be gotten and offered for pure karma gain and is much easier to get. The experience given needs to be equilivalent the average amount of work required to gain 25001 gold. Otherwise, people will always just take the gold as it is a better value.

@Narsrim gold given has flucuated over time. Currently it gives 25001 gold for a 100%

How many auronidion particles must be traded for a sphere?

It varies between 75 and 125.

The karma gain has been boosted massively, but the experience gain is still pretty low on Auronispheres. Any chance of say multiplying the current XP gain by a factor of 3-5? Karma gain can be dropped since it's so easy to come by, just go bash the Catacombs and you've got 100%.

I should also add, that I've got more blessings than I had previously. Human with Harmony, Facebook and Truefavour.
