Hrm, I meant the food we feed it to make it look like what we want them to eventually look like in its youth is supposed to affect how they look when they mature, right? My question is, do we feed them every month in its youth for the diet to have a profound effect when it matures?

Everything you feed a beast during the 'youth' period influence the beast to some tiny degree. And you have to feed your beast hourly (daily) because each midnight, it eats a food out of its feedbag. Unless it's in a stable and you did NOT add the FEED command to STABLE HOUSE (beast). Once it matures, feeding is only for keeping the beast alive and allowing you to use whatever reagents you want. If you've got the train points set up how you want already, it doesn't matter in the least once it matures what you feed it.

Pretty sure it's just food. Like 98% sure. Someone might want to confirm though.
