Rome was not part of the "dark ages" however. The so called "dark ages" are periods in human history of civilization where there isn't any data to find or so little available not enough can be said, or what is found is pretty much untranslatable with current knowledge.

He meant we're currently in a "dark age" because Old Celest was so much more advanced than the current period of history. But that's debatable.

As for your definition of dark age, it's wrong but I'm not about to steer us even further off topic.

I read a post somewhere that Lusternia isn't so 'medieval': it's actually equal with our current world. We have physics and science, Lusternia has magic and planar travel.

That's if you interpret reducing penalties as "ALMOST there". I don't. I'm sure there's a spectrum of people who think it could use an overhaul and some who just want one thing tweaked. Also not shown in this survey are the people who got fed up with the system and rage QQ'd.

I'd like to know what Estarra will do with this referendum. EDIT
