Who else plays? It's extremely different from Lusternia in every way except for Aetherspace, but it makes World of Warcraft look like a child's game.

Me! Although, when I say "play", what I mean is I have paid for timecodes to last me until October, which is the next point I'm likely to have any time to actually play it. So all I'm doing right now is paying to train skills...

I'm currently sitting on a clone in safe space with my set of +5's maxing out my missile skills. On the odd occasion I play I'll jump into my other clone for a couple of days and fly missions until some gate-campers kill me and/or I start to feel guilty about not studying

The worst part of EvE is never being able to be on even footing with people who have played a lot longer than you have.

Also Bali, Darkfall's UI is half based on integrated Internet Explorer activex's. You know, like the games from 1996 when it first went into development.

I'm in a mining corporation right now, and we run mining ops once every day or two. I don't do PvP at the moment, but I'm farming tons of ISK constantly for my PvP career. I've got a jump clone in Rens and Latari if that's where you're close to. I really don't go into low-sec very often, so I don't usually get ganked

I still don't understand how someone can objectively declare that EVE is better than WoW when they cater to completely different styles of gamers.

WoW vs. WAR vs. AoC vs. those similar games I understand, but comparing EVE to WoW is apples to oranges.

Ragnarok Online is, arguably, different from the others as well.

Ragnarok Online is completely generic in most ways, and offers the same general classes as most MMOs (archer, thief, tank, etc.) so can likely be compared in some way to most MMOs.

Although you can compare anything to anything else and make claims like "better". To some, EVE is going to be "better" than WoW on the simple basis that they enjoy it more. WoW, on the other hand, may be "better" simply because the user doesn't enjoy sci-fi. It's the nice thing about biased comparison; there's really no limit to it.

The original post is also incorrect. In EVE, you can get murdered by a vastly superior force and lose a huge amount of effort - just like Lusternia.

I am desperately awaiting this to be released in America (unless it already it is)
