You get more points per hit on the forge, you don't get any more point allocated because of the mallet. It just makes it more likely because you have less strikes so you have less of a chance those strikes will go else where. You don't get extra stats.
That's what he said.

Regarding the streamlining of afflictions: it's not about which ones are useless, just that there are far too many now and the entrance bar for getting into combat is very high as a result.

Maybe make it so robes could be proofed more, but don't do as much for defense against weapons? Another idea would be give them different proofs so that they would defend in different ways.
This isn't really an option, and I don't understand why it pops up from time to time. Mages cannot wear ANY armor. They can ONLY wear robes. Wiccans/Druids/etc can ONLY wear leather armor.

The whole system would need redone (which I do so very dread should that day come as it took forever and a day to get wounding into line). I think a better bet would be to remove the various levels of worthless armor and add other abilities that have some useful function. Additionally, make these items decay at a decent rate so they need to be replaced.
Off the top of my head, I could see things like mining picks (harvest gems and precious metals!), better shovels, items of various entities (Ecology Armour might be something that is actually forged!), etc.

I would also love to see chainmail and leather armour be buffed so their use is viable. I'd also like to be able to wear clothes under robes, because to me, robes have always been like Jedi robes. I hear people were able to before, but it got changed because people were wearing armour under robes. If it's possible for the admin to code it so we can't wear armour but can wear pants and a shirt, I think I would be in love.

No responses from the admin since Forging took over the polls.

It wasn't exactly the expected response =P

I...I think I love you.

Might people stop voting, please? This thread keeps getting bumped by new votes when it's a bit late to really make any difference at all. June is almost over!

Oh, so that's why it keeps coming up new. Can't you lock the poll part? If not, can't locking the thread do it?
EDIT: Let's find out!
