Urgh. I feel your pain. Getting someone declared legally incompetent, or getting guardianship rights, is a real pain.

My mother and aunt scrambled to obtain court-appointed guardianship over my great-uncle and great-aunt because my great-uncle was getting himself involved with a local scam artist who'd already scammed them out of a piece of property. My uncle was extremely stubborn and up until he died believed that it was my mother stealing all his money, not the guy who had the gall to call my mother after my uncle's funeral and demand money from an account he was supposedly named the beneficiary of.

I think I can say I really hate jetlag. I woke up at 11am this morning here, I slept for twelve hours straight and through my alarm which I turned off in my sleep.

Then, bolted out the door without eating only to get lost.

mutter grumble wake up to get ready for class and I'm tired and stupid sister is in the shower and is angry at me for needing to get into the bathroom even though I stuck my schedule up on the fridge so I wouldn't have to deal with crap like this grumble

I have to leave in 15 minutes to just barely make it to my class on time and not be late, and she's still in the shower even though I told her to hurry up 10 minutes ago.

All these first year newbs are clogging up the cellphone network and my internet radio on the phone is skipping.

I console myself with the fact that this is my last year in this nuthouse.

I guarantee, next time it happens, pick the lock on the door and hop into the shower with her. She'll be out so fast you'll have all the time in the world and she'll NEVER be in the shower when you want to be again. Provided she isn't scarred for life. But, that's a risk you have to take.

Man, ok, in that situation, I'd be the one comin' out of it scarred for life. Ain't worth it.

She's like me (which is a bad start already) but minus one pair of glasses, plus 40 pounds, and a bad dye-job.

That's when you take a sharp pointy stick in with you. ^.^ Sharp pointy sticks usually get the job done!

So me along with my entire senior class were shuffled into a Madd presentation today. We spent two and a half hours dealing with painfully incompetent fearmongering which caused one person to have an epileptic seizure, and another person who had in fact been in a car accident as passenger to have flashbacks. Then they hauled us outside to sit in the sun for an hour as someone screamed into a mic, with least 4 cops, 2 ambulances, and a firefighting truck performing a life saving procedure upon a dummy. The noise, light, and heat triggered a migrane which had me curled up clutching my head for 5 hours, that had I not shrugged off last night's migrane a couple hours earlier, qualified me for a persistent migranous state.

So this presentation has caused on it's own, one severe medical issue, one moderate medical issue, one traumatizing flashback for a 17 year old girl with PTSD and glass embedded in her forehead, along with wasting funds and resources that should have been out in my county actually saving lives, since in a place with 1.6 million people, I'm willing to BET that there was SOMEBODY that needed those emergency services a hell of a lot more.

Ugh.

Seeing my friends playing Reach. *sniffle* Oh well, just gotta be patient for my dad to get it for me later today.

I swear, everytime I fly around the world, the jet lag gets worse. It takes me up to a month to become comfortable again with the sun and moon just about switching places. I feel your pain.

My computer died again. I'm forced to use my dad's computers as a means of getting my wow fix and daily computer doings.

What more do you need? I'm sure I can wrangle it up somewhere
