Me: Hello?
Friend: Hey man, my aunt's oil company needs a guy out at Drayton Valley in the morning. 3 weeks work, 23.60 an hour, 12 hour days, 3000.00 sub.
Me: Sure, I will reschedule my advanced ticket training till I get back.
Friend: Which ones you doing again?
Me: Well next week I was doing First Responder.
Friend: Oh... ... That's one of the ones you need for this job. Sorry...
and here I postponed this ticket till next week instead of doing it last week when I was asked if I wanted it then.

Why do the wow gods hate me? All i want is to be able to play wow and level my characters. I don't want to raid or pvp. ;-; What i don't understand though is why cata's pre-patch messes up yet tbc's didn't or wrath's. so weird.
--wow right after posting this, it works. ~.~ thank you wow gods? or blizzard....better yet I'ma going with Lusternia's gods because clearly they had something to do with it.

I am craving sushi somethin' fierce, but I can't drive and none of my friends are feelin' down for sushitimes. And those delivery sushi places always forget that I ordered no avocado, and if there's avocado on it I can't eat it on account of allergic reactions, which leaves me with a bunch of sushi I can only look at which is just plain depressing.

A midterm essay for a class was due today at 5:00. I got it in at 4:58. But it's shorter than it should have been, which is my fault, and I don't know how much the professor will take off for that. This is why I shouldn't try to do a midterm essay in 4 hours...

I have come to the conclusion that I will not receive my membership credits/dingbats today, which significantly throws off my plans for today and the weekend.

Just email support and they'll activate it. That's what I had to do.

No, I don't think it is supposed to go through until the beginning of next week.

Why do you think that?
Because I typically receive it on the 18th or so of each month.

So I caved and ordered some sushi.
It took an hour to get here. And it tastes (not surprisingly) like sushi that's been in someone's trunk for an hour.
At least they remembered to take out the avocado.

Fact. When doing homework outside and concentrating deeply on your writing assignment, don't give your phone number to someone if you were half-listening to the conversation. Regardless of having been in their class several times and deeming them okay.
They will turn out to be creepers. Science says so.

After forcing me to read a biography on Thomas Paine, Common Sense, and various other works from him, I miraculously finish an essay on him. Me righting an essay is rare. Rarer still is where I don't close off all counterarguments immediately after making my point and thus ending up with a short (though otherwise wonderful) essay. No, this thing was full length, I did magical quoting power stuff, it was beautiful.
I accidentally recycled the paper with how to log on to the website I have to turn it in to.
Scramble to e-mail the teacher my essay, something he probably won't accept, commences: save file as rtf so he can read it, copy it onto the actual e-mail in case he won't download the attachment (for fear of viruses from students), reformat parts for the email text version, throw in kiss-up disclaimer, send literally the minute it was due (the proper way).
X_X
And while I'm at it, the lottery ending tomorrow runs contrary to what I read and planned around. I lack ALL desire to play tonight (plan on playing tomorrow, though). My girlfriend is watching horror movies, which I absolutely cannot stand and throws off any other plans for the night. Too tired to do much of anything anyways. Would watch television, but (and I hate to use this word in this way) ironically it is about 3500 miles away. Would play PS3, but that's with the television (though it would work on my laptop). Would watch a movie, but I would probably finish after my girlfriend, causing both of us to stay awake longer than desired. And all I have is anime I don't want to watch and a couple blu-rays, which cuts a lot of computer functions to run smoother.
Is that everything? I'm sure it's not, but I can't think of anything else to complain about.
Oh, my grammar in this post is horrid.
The lottery not being over really messed me up. And my night would have gone a lot smoother if I was able to properly upload my essay.
Oh, and I want to switch to Ubuntu, but my video card is too new for it, so I would have to settle for incredibly awful resolution (and limited settings) instead of the 1920x1080 I am using now. And I want to buy M&M, but there's no point getting it until I figure out if I can get Ubuntu to work or not.

Waking up early to make the best of experience boost on an alt, only to find out once you've activated it you're somehow bugged and even 100 influence attempts don't result in a win (even after relogging and restarting). Planned the whole day around having as much time to grind as well.

About an hour ago, I got a call from the police saying my sister had been taken into the hospital, and I was the person she gave as her emergency contact. She's suffering from something called "DTs", which I haven't heard of before. Something to do with her alcoholism she's been dealing with off and on for years. It seems like she's completely lost it, the police said they picked her up where she had evidently been hiding for several hours behind bushes behind a McDonald's, insisting that "the devil was on her bed, laughing at her." When I got to the hospital, at first she didn't even recognize me, seeming to think I was another nurse, and then she abruptly did, and became terrified of me for some reason, to the point where I had to leave because they couldn't get her to calm down.
I can't get a hold of any of my other family, I can't bear to see her like this, and I don't know what to do.

Talk to the nurses - they're generally full of information how to handle people in rough situations like this.
DTs is basically delirium resulting from withdrawals. They've medication to help her cope with it, and from my experience (a nervous/friendly chat with a nurse when a friend was taken in with it, a couple years ago), it's pretty necessary.
Just take deep breaths, realize things are pretty rough, but she's in capable hands (unlike the McDonald's staff, the hospital knows how to handle this).
Her reaction to you could've been a hallucination (probably something like snakes, bugs, etc) or not wanting you to see her like 'this'.
Good news is she'll get better once everything's over with. Just need to hang in there, and keep trying to get a hold of your family - and until then, a friend to lean on is probably a good idea.

I just rode my bike for the first time in years. I went, maybe, the length of a block and back, and I am completely winded.
