That's an Umineko no Naku Koro Ni avatar, not a Touhou avatar. They're related, but their awesomeness is from totally different things.

I've done that often enough that whenever I find myself typing anything more than 1-2 sentences, I copy-paste it to Notepad or Notepad++ and type/edit it there.

The log was in html, and I don't know html enough to be able to edit it myself. I did end up finding an edit, though it wasn't a visual edit, so I had to really guess at what I was doing. If I could find an editor that let me change a log from the end result instead of the source, I'd be happy.
