LexisNexis is malfunctioning, but ONLY on the company record I actually need.

Semi-related: I get the feeling that a lot of my e-mails for the next couple of months are going to sound like this:

Dear NAME:

This is MYNAME from MYCOMPANY. As you may know, FORMER COLLEAGUE has recently left MYCOMPANY, and in her notes I see that we have a grant report due to YOURCOMPANY by DATE. Is there a particular template that YOURCOMPANY requires? Unfortunately I cannot find anything in our files.

Many thanks and apologies for the inconvenience,

MYNAME

I know the feeling. Our Christmas present was having to deal with that.

Also, hello exams. I'm getting 60s in both of those courses, so if I pass I will be surprised. I don't see the point in trying anymore. I am so done with high school, can I just go to college already?

I dont' want to burst your bubble, but college courses are harder, and there is less margin for error sad.gif .

They are, however, meant to be different, unless I'm much mistaken, and beyond the initial level it's easier to focus on things you actually like. Ish.

I find university easier is some ways than High School, typically because I'm more invested and interested in university than I ever was in high school.

High school was just very boring, which made it hard to focus.

One thing made college infinitely better to me: DROP/ADD periods. Plus WITHDRAW. wub.gif

Rant:
Because one of the staff messed up and posted on facebook that students could come in early due to the snowstorm when they really couldnt. We literally had over a hundred calls over the course of my shift.
Also, the girl still hasn't even bothered to text me, so she probably isnt even remotely interested sad.gif

No, no. I am aware of that.

But it's going to be something I WANT to do. Not something I'm forced to do. I am so excited for cooking school! biggrin.gif

I wish I was like you lot and had some idea what I wished to do with my life. All I know is that things stay as they are, I'll likely be dissatisfied with it for quite a long time.

I figured out what I wanted to do by taking a course and falling in love with it. I then later realized that I had the passion all along - I just never noticed it before.

You'll find what you want to do soon enough, even if it beats you over the head first.

Writing really long things and then deleting them because you're too embarrassed to share your thoughts with people.

I wish I had figured out the difference between a fun and exciting hobby and what I'd like to do as a career before I went to college instead of after I failed out.

I'm underweight again and it doesn't seem like my weight loss is going to stabilize any time soon. Bleh. Maybe I should just start drinking soda again so I won't have to buy new clothes and feel self-conscious about being skeletal.

My birthday is in 2 weeks....I have no f-ing clue as to what I want or what I want to do. I think there's something wrong with me. o.o

You should go see someone about that actually, fluctuating weigh is not good, it's how I found out I was really sick two years ago.

Heh, I know what it's about. It's not anything serious. I don't usually mind it, but the weightloss part of it gets really annoying.

I tried putting my contacts in today for the first time in a while. My eyes are quite literally -so- dry that after blowing my finger under warm air for 5 minutes, the contact would still rather flip back onto it then anchor on my eye.

Eyeglasses make you look smarter, and smart is the new cool.
