Is anyone else unable to view the 'Life in Lusternia' section, or is it just me?

This has just been one of those toss up weeks, I can't quite decide what to think of it. My boyfriend surprised visited me, with flowers, an hour later, I get a phone call from my family to tell me my aunt passed away (she was only 55) and I ended up being sick for the first part of the week.

Well, thankfully the boyfriend was here, but that's three family members since last march. sad.gif

I've been extra confused about my gender identity lately. It's just been on my mind a lot for some reason, probably because we've been learning about gender dysphoria in class, so the issue keeps being brought to the front of my mind. I don't feel comfortable as a girl, and never have, but I also don't think I'd be a guy if somehow I was given the choice to switch. :? I suppose I identify as androgynous, but I wish I knew for sure one way or another what I felt most comfortable as!

I've never had that issue so my advice is probably silly and trite and you should feel free to ignore it completely, but here it is:

Don't worry about it. Just be you and the rest will work itself out. Maybe you're feeling so confused cause you're trying too hard to fit yourself into this category or that category when, really, as long as you're good with being you, categories don't really matter.

Anyway, hug.gif

I've been debating that for a while. Gender identity is one thing I think all people go through. Know that no matter what happens, it doesn't really matter if you discover you feel you don't really fit as a girl.

I know personally for myself, I am comfortable as a girl, but would be just as comfortable as a guy. Therefore, I use the term genderless quite frequently. It lends itself nicely to the fact that I'm pansexual, as well.

I've often imagined what it would be like as a girl, but I don't think to the point that it's an issue. I don't think I'd mind either way, really. It's interesting to see other people wonder about it, though, makes me feel less weird. Good luck with figuring it out!

The cool eco-friendly pizza place right next to our shop put up a sign last Friday that said they were having technical difficulties and would be closed until February 21st. The sign is still there and they have not been open since...

I figure 'technical difficulties' at a pizza place must involve either their refrigerators, ovens, or plumbing. And any of those are things you would definitely have fixed within a week. I really hope they're not closed for good. fear.gif

Upgrading/resurrecting old PCs is a pain.

I need:

- Better GPU
- Better PSU to facilitate GPU
- Better CPU to not bottleneck GPU
- Better Mobo to accommodate modern CPU chipset
- New DDR3 RAM since old was DDR2
- To make sure I can cram all this under $500
- To make sure that my fancy new high-end GPU can actually fit inside the PC's case.

I can feel this PC dying, I wish to move on! sad.gif

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, I so got out of that several years ago. I once paid a lot of money to go to an Nvidia Graphics Developer conference, because I'd heard, on the grapevine, attending qualified you for a GeForce 3 a full 1.5 months before it would be available commercially. It did, but seriously, most boring conference ever tongue.gif

I just threw together my PC from stuff that was on sale. It'll play WoW well enough to raid, good 'nuff for me.

I love the noobs, who play with 300+ pings in Call of Duty and don't know why it makes a difference.
Shiri2011-02-26 02:46:28
sad.gif I have to play on USW if I want to play with Tewi or other asians with terrible internet.
Caffrey2011-02-26 02:50:33
It takes about 170ms to respond to optical stimuli... something no one knew 11 years ago when I was top 400 in the world for Quake2 Lithium wink.gif
Unknown2011-02-26 04:16:08
I really can't get my ping below 200 under normal circumstances. Skill is beating nubs in a FPS when you're dealing with a 1200ms ping.

I hate our ISP.

I hate that I don't have a girlfriend that would make me croquembouche whenever I wanted it.

Don't worry. I've done that quite a bit too.. It's just hard to stop. Now try playing discworld!

censor.gif feeling fevery and achy and bad. I can't afford to miss work this much.

Stupid cold, stupid fever, stupid cough, stupid soup monster growing on the stove. sad.gif

(Housemate left a pot of soup on the stove when she went home, that was last thursday/friday, and isn't coming home until tonight. I don't like soup at all, looking at it can make me feel sick when it's fresh, let alone what's growing inside of that pot and I've been too sick to deal with it before)

Because Slut Princess Maker 2 is the best thing ever?

Also I'd like to add to all the dissatisfaction about fevers and colds and sniffles and the like. God I dislike being so stuffed up and tired. sad.gif
