It seems to me that, if people keep failing classes and have to keep extending their stay at the university, they have to keep paying the university for the classes and everything else associated with them. It seems counterproductive from the business side (which is the only side that seems to count in too many institutions today) to tell someone that they can no longer attend the university after a certain number of years--that person will then no longer be paying the university.
Something to do with quality-control, I'd guess, since it's a state school and it competes with the best schools available in our country (which are all private and has rates at least twice what we pay for). I've only realized after three years that it's suicide to enroll in a hard course in my school when I could've assured myself a diploma after four years in another school. Significantly less guarantee of landing a job though, especially a good one, if I did that given our current unemployment stats and all.
In line with what diamondais said..if such a policy weren't implemented, I'd be having classmates that have been in college for 8+ years.

Something in my house smells like a goddamn garbage dump and we cannot find where it's coming from. I hope a small animal didn't die in the ventilation system or something like that, but it is seriously stankin' like it did.

After trying to fix my first round of laptop problems, I at least alleviated them, but for some reason, after they were working just moments before and without me doing anything, skype and League of Legends won't connect for some reason. I can't even login to skype, and LoL won't let me play games, gets up to character selection then won't let me actually play the games.

I was listening to the Ocarina of Time soundtrack in the dark and all of a sudden the shadow temple music came on. I can't get the goosebumps to go down.

I am so tired of people asking if we like to watch Cupcake Wars and DC Cupcakes.
The answer is no. They are pretty boring shows to begin with, and they're about stuff we do every single day. No.

It's like people asking me if I'm related to Harry Potter because my last name is Potter! o:
Except I don't do magic.
I don't mind giving out my last name on the internet, most of you know who I am anyway

Working on an assignment where I need to get statistics off the National Statistics website and.. the internet keeps dropping. Dear god.

My last name is ludicrously personal. Only 7 people in the world have it. We are the .

Yes, once you know the ward names, seems fairly easy to find, less so when the internet acts up though as ours is prone to doing.

I just got the news that my great aunt is dead. I don't know how. I don't know why. I'll probably know later. For now, that's all I know.

Sleep makes you feel less tired normally, right?

So to wind down the day me and four other friends play a game of Poker, we all buy in with some money and then play, I'm probably the least experianced of the group but was the least drunk so I come second. This isn't the rant.
The rant is the guy I lost to came round my room twenty minutes later, gives me the money he won and then wanders off before I could object. I am definitely the poorest of the group and he's easily the richest but still... Pride says I should give it back, being sensible and the fact that it's almost half of my total money says 'No, bloody well keep it'.
I am annoyed...
And now I realise only I could be dissatisfied by free money >.<

Your bug report has been evaluated and deemed not a bug.
If you spend too much time lazing around, sleep won't do you any good. If you have an erratic sleep schedule, sleep won't do much good. If you want to feel less tired, do some excersize, go to bed at least two hours before midnight, and get up early. You'll be bursting with energy. Promise.

Naw, you're supposed to tell them to contact an envoy to if they feel that this needs changing.

My sleep schedule isn't so much erratic as dictated by school. I always wake up early.
Way early.
