No!! That's just the thing. I wasn't even buying anything that only over 18s could buy...sad.gif

Unless you can get a high off bleach or something now.

Had to cancel my Elite Membership due to needing to watch my money.

Yes EA games, we pre-ordered the online version of the Sim Medieval. Why no, it's not in my ordered games. Yes, you took my money. Stop telling me it worked when I say it's not in my games, jerks. It's not. Give my my goddamned game! If it's not there tommorrow, I will smite people!

Am I the only one who spends some days wishing they were a complete idiot?

I prefer this poem:

'Look at the happy idiot
He doesn't give a damn
I wish I were an idiot
My god, perhaps I am.'

My mac's charger decided to freak out on me and now the tip is broken and I have to insert it to make it work. I just received it 17th of December last year..and I can't buy a new one until the end of this month. losewings.gif

My character badly wants a romantic interest but she's married to a virtually inactive character..but can't divorce because her family needs 10 active members at the moment. argh.

side note: Why am I thinking about romantic interests when my character's yet to find one? losewings.gif

If I calculated right, the auctions end around 3 in the morning in EDT time zone.

I was setting up a second profile for an alt I was planning on messing around with. But instead of copying all of my settings over to that profile, I by mistake ended up just having them both loading the same settings.

And then I went and deleted all the stuff my alt didn't need. Like Druid skills. T___T

All of my aliases and triggers for tracking stuff important to Druidry/Stag/Runes/Dreamweaving/Ecology, GOOOOOOOONEEEEE. DX
Everiine2011-03-27 20:04:30
I think your profile picture is laughing at your misfortune.

Eep. Which client do you use? Does it automatically keep old "logs" of profiles?
Unknown2011-03-27 23:37:42
Mudlet is right easy to recover old profiles, if that's the client. (I discovered it when I had to find the raw script files)

@Fuyu: Hey, I'm an apple repair shop yadda yadda person. By Dec. 17 last year, do you mean Dec. 17, 2010? Also, what sort of damage are we talking? Tripped over/caused by the end user, or appears to have just fallen apart? If the latter, I'd recommend dragging it back to wherever you got it from and see if they're willing to replace it. You're right at the outside of the 90 day warranty that typically accompanies parts, but definitely within a year.

If you got it from an Apple corporate store, take it in with your receipt and see if they'll just exchange it. They have a pretty good amount of leeway on that sort of thing. If not, I'd recommend the fair but firm approach. You just can't see yourself buying an Apple product ever again if the quality of the materials and how long accessories last is worse than much cheaper pc laptops, etc, etc. Be reasonable and what not, and if all else fails, have an attractive female friend try to make the exchange for you. Obviously, if you're the attractive female friend for your friend group, disregard that last bit. But it's AMAZING what I've seen people accomplish in the Apple store with a low cut top.

That is both amusing and horrible.

"What makes you think you can just walk in there and take whatever you want?"
"They're called boobs, Ed."

yep, right at the date. Uhrm..I can't recall a moment when the charger's wire have been tripped over to cause such a damage. I just noticed one day that it's not working well and I had to reposition the wire a lot to make it work. Then when I examined it closely, I noticed the wire closest to the bit was loose and when I gave a gentle tug it came off.o.o I thought it was due to mishandling..but I never looped the cord and always kept it loosely looped when in its bag. I was careful not to tug it, too.

Hrm..I don't even know if the receipt's with me..and it was purchased from Italy and I'm in the Philippines. Should I ask my mom for warranty details?

Get the warranty details. Plus, most apple products come with their own warranty. (and I've had terrific experiences with Apple and replacing devices. Much <3 to them.)

Edit: If all else fails, say how disappointed you are in their customer service. >.>

Edit: If all else fails, write a virus for Macs and blackmail them with it.

Fixed.

just waiting for the phone call for my mom to ask. have to wait for the end of the month for my allowance, though, before I can go to a nearby Apple store. Thanks!

I've been meaning to go to a con where Alodia will be but circumstances have never allowed me to do so. And now, it seems she's quitting cosplay (please let it be hiatus and not totally quitting) to focus on school. Some were saying it's an early April Fool's joke, but it's possible she's going for a second major, or they've got continuing studies of some sort. I've never watched a single episode of this gag show she was invited to co-host too because of unfortunate circumstances. I think we're just never destined to meet. sad.gif
