Spelling... Spelling of all kinds. The more I learn the more I realise just how many mistakes in my spelling seem to be hard coded into my brain. I am very dissatisfied about the sheer number of words I've been catching myself on recently. I've started having word or google up at all times to check random words which makes me very slow when talking to people on Lusternia or MSN.
I used to think of myself as an ok speller, now almost every sentence I come up with I look back on and think "Those words look wrong, that word is ugly it must be wrong.", so I put the entire thing into word and find that the word that I think is ugly is fine (which prompts much rage) and the word I thought was perfectly spelt was wrong.
Written words are ugly, I look at maths and how in the majority of cases the way things are done are as simple and elegant as they could be and then I see words and wonder what sort of demented creature thought of those would be a good thing to put onto a page.
It certainly makes me feel slightly better to think that language and the written word are an imperfect invention, but that mathematics is a constant that we are merely discovering.
That's not to say that words cannot form beautiful things but I think they're much better spoken.
Words that just don't make sense to me irritate me on a profound level. Words that just look wrong, like 'sentence', the middle 'e' to me looks out of place.
This must seem like the weirdest thing to rant about but it's really been getting on my nerves recently.
Now it occurs to me that it's rather odd that I think of words and maths as polar opposites, that's probably just because my parents seemed to always be at opposite ends of the spectrum and one is good at maths, the other writing.
Anyway, Semi-rant semi-thinking out loud over.

My roomie got me playing Monster Hunter 3. Right when I need to work on my countless projects and assignments.
And I just found out that Dissidia 012 came out, and Patapon 3 is coming out in mid-April. My studies...

Cool, do let us know what weapon you prefer. I myself love the hammer.

I started out using dual swords, but now I love hunting horn and hammers too! I'm planning to try out bow and gunlance sometime soon.
Edit: I just dealt the final blow to a giant bear with a tiny throwing knife.

This stupid varterral I need to loot for a quest in Dragon Age 2 died and the lootable part of its corpse, of course, clipped through a rock structure, so I can't reach it. I'm just kind of running around its glowy, sparkly body smashing the A button and hoping it will eventually work.
EDIT: Restored from a save that was about an hour beforehand, and made sure I wasn't near any pesky rock formations or walls this time when I killed the thing. Playing through the same crap for another hour again was worth it...I can't stand to leave a quest incomplete.

I'm finally starting to go to sleep earlier. Terrific. However, waking up leaves me feeling sick for the majority of the day, and last night I kept waking up every few hours. >.<

My sleep is so screwed up lately. I think it's the medication making me so tired. I'll go to sleep, and then wake up, then the next thing I know I fell asleep again and it's three hours later. Repeat until I finally get fed up and throw myself out of bed. I've been consistently sleeping for about 13-15 hours a night/day.

I think I'm sick. Lately I've been getting pretty bad headaches coupled with being kind of hot all day. meeeehhh

I knocked over my drink onto my computer, and now one of my keys won't work. It's an important one too. I can't gance, or ook at anything, or sip quicksiver.

I know that's awful, because I've been there, so I feel terrible for giggling uncontrollably. You might have a little trouble logging in, too, so... just don't qq ever until your key works again.

At least the space key is working! Oh and enter.
Edit: I guess you just need to learn how to type everything in Morse code, or binary and alias everything possible accordingly!

You can use "sq" instead of "gl"!

Best way to fix this is to unplug your keyboard and just let it dry for a while (overnight at least). I did something similar to my keyboard a while back, and freaked out when keys stopped working or would trigger the keys next to them, but once it dried out everything is fine.
If your drink was something potentially sticky, and you are able to take your keyboard apart to a sufficient degree (while still being able/knowing how to put it back together!), you might consider opening it up and cleaning it out some.

ROMs are so unsatisfying. I wish I could afford to actually buy Pokemon White. Once I get the money, I totally will be...until then, I will make do.
