I'm always amazed at how people get so enthralled over the simplest crap. VALIUM.

I don't like my job. And USPS lost my Portal 2.

"Mom, next semester, I want to take a class I've been interested in for a long time, but would never take because it's scheduled at a weird time of day."
"Ok, is it in your major?"
"I...no, it's not."
"Why isn't it?"
"...because I'm not happy with the major you wanted me to take. I'm not interested in it at all. I really don't want to be doing it."
"It's what's best for you"
"...I disagree."

It sucks, but a: I didn't cry for once and b: I actually stood up for myself.

I want to take an introductory sculpture class. I've always been interested in learning how to do it, but I've just been...me, so I haven't gone for it.

Provided I finish the 3 papers tonight/this morning that I intended to, that still leaves me with 4 final papers due tomorrow. Two of which are 10+ pages, none of which I've really started.

After being home for about a week and a half, my brother has already managed to trip on a controller cable, causing my 360 to be jerked forwards, and possibly damaging the disk drive. If this thing breaks, I am not going to be able to pay for a replacement, and if I try and get him to fix the problem that he caused, I will receive nothing but anger and half-baked excuses about how clearly it was -my- fault that he can't pick up his feet when he walks.

With spring comes breathless nostalgia that leaves me wanting to stay in bed all day and hide from the world.

My left hand and arm went slightly numb last night (it didn't fall asleep, it just went numb), and it's doing it again now. My mom thinks I have carpal tunnel syndrome, but I also went to the chiropractor recently for the first time in several months, so it could be a pinched nerve or something too. It's only slightly numb, though, so I'm not sure if there's actually something wrong or if I'm imagining it.

What a shitty night. Found out that my aunt had an aneurysm that caused her to fall down. She's currently in the hospital, and doctor says she's stable. Whole family is tense, no surprise. Of course this leads to fighting/snapping, which in turn upsets my grandma. My grandma is already frail and has her own health problems and none of this is going to help so I'm worried about her as well.
The problem with all of this is the fact that my aunt has had neck pain, severe neck pain for two days and has vomited as well. Instead of going to the doctors' like she should've, she went to work. God, I wish my family wasn't so stubborn. I wish this would be like a wake up call to my dad to get him to go to the doctor's to get a general checkup but he's still as stubborn as ever. Shitty night and a goddamn stubborn family.

I just realised something. Harold Camping didn't state which timezone, so is the world going to end timezone from timezone?
EDIT: Because, well, it's already 21st of May over here. Hrm.

QUOTE (Harold Camping)
In other words, when we get to May 21 on the calendar in any city or country in the world, and the clock says about — this is based on other verses in the Bible — when the clock says about 6 p.m., there’s going to be this tremendous earthquake that’s going to make the last earthquake in Japan seem like nothing in comparison. And the whole world will be alerted that Judgment Day has begun. And then it will follow the sun around for 24 hours. As each area of the world gets to that point of 6 p.m. on May 21, then it will happen there, and until it happens, the rest of the world will be standing far off and witnessing the horrible thing that is happening.
