My car started having it's monthly PMS cycle yesterday. Won't go over 40 mph now. I guess I'l finally save on fuel......
Also, I woke up at 4:00 am to go to work, and in my grogginess I hit my foot on something and split open my little toe.....

I just went through the wedding guest list again, and the majority of people who haven't sent in RSVPs are my fraternity brothers. Irresponsible!!!

Tell them it's an open bar (even if it's not).

Obviously I should have put that on the invite.

Just found out today that i've apparently been stealing from my workplace for 2 months.
I was told when I hired on at the gas station that we get free soda refills on or off the clock, a privilege i have been using well for 2 months. Well, tonight as i stopped in to fill my mountain dew, i got chewed out as I walked out. The graveyard lady was telling saying 'Who the hell do you think you are? You have to pay for that.' I reminded her about the policy and asked my manager(who was still there) to confirm it...............and he told me she was right......whoops. I've probably unwittingly stolen a good $50-100 dollars in soda refills........

I am miserably sick right now and I've got pain lancing through both hands. Sleeping for a month would be cool.
Sleep. Eat. Watch a good film or something similar. Gather hugs. Feel better!

Thanks for the support, both of you.
And yeah, six people. She let me know which ones they were, too, in her kindness.

This is late, because I don't always update myself in forum messages.
I wish I would never to cross paths with someone like that because I just might beat the hell out of the person -- oh, right, I did..but I decided to beat the hell out of him in my mind and just pretended he didn't exist.
Getting over's never really easy, I think. I -think- I'm okay, but then something comes to remind me that makes me feel a little sad inside. (No, actually, I feel so sad and lonely, but I do my best to brush it off.) I just try to remind myself that I'm better off single and happy. Yes, I let go of someone important, but as he himself said, I too deserve to be happy. Being with someone you love isn't all happiness, especially when what that person does only makes you sad and hurt. Focus on yourself, your happiness and those who love you (like us! like us!).
..and talking about that made me realize that the reason why someone kept nagging at the back of my head today was because today was supposed to be our second anniversary..if we didn't part ways last month.
The person who made me feel sad inside yesterday with his comment is being really moody today. Yes, I couldn't help it if my voice showed how down his words made me felt but..hey..I did try to cheer up and actually chat with him over the phone. Then..he just went silent while I was trying to pass off what I felt by teasing. Now he's shoo'ing me off again, saying I shouldn't mix with his type unless I wanted emotional burdens. Why is it that I tend to meet friends who are moody and depressive..and of course I try to cheer them up, however innately moody and depressive I am as well..and then I get shoo'ed off later. Darn it, future circumstances aside, I -did- say I'm his friend and I really am.

Good news: Enjoying being able to go biking in the nice weather. NC's rolling hills make for a pleasant workout, and the weather has been rather cool all things considered, and I've been able to get some things done along the way without bumming off my friends and family for rides.
Bad news: I've discovered that I can no longer fit quite comfortably on the frame that I'm using, I need to fiddle with the derailleur to correct a few shifting issues, and it's exacerbating some of my lower-body issues(Knee, hip, ankle, meh), though I expect that it will make them better in the long run. Low impact exercise and whatnot as opposed to my normal runs and sparring.

To paraphrase Dan Savage: Every relationship you have will fail, until one doesn't. Sounds cynical at first, but I think it's kind of inspiring.
But I'm a kind of person who finds most relationships a waste of resources.

Being with someone you love isn't all happiness.
This has to be one of the wisest things I've ever heard about relationships.
I tried to stay in contact with the one I loved when she left. She wanted to still be friends. I didn't, but tried for her sake. A few weeks later when she burned me again, I realized she was just trying to have things both ways, to have her cake and eat it to. That was too much hurt for me to deal with, and that's when I cut contact. I saw her at a wedding of one of our mutual friends a year later, and managed to not even acknowledge her the whole time (my cadre of angry, protective fraternity brothers and sisters created a nice buffer zone).
There are still times when part of me longs for the part of me she took that I can never get back. But I'm much better off without her and very happy in my current relationship .
@Daraius: I'm like that too. In fact, when I was in high school, I didn't bother trying to date anyone because I saw so many silly relationships rise, flare up, and fall apart. It got to the point where my mother actually asked me if I was gay because I wasn't dating anyone .

So....I just recharged the air conditioning system on my 1992 Lexus on Friday. R134a is expensive stuff($12.50 a can ).
Now my dad just bought a fancy new air conditioner charging system at Wal-Mart last night, and was eager to show it off this afternoon. He hooked it up to my car to read how much R134 was in it, and to add more if needed. Problem is, he couldn't get it hooked up right to the high pressure side and drained ALL of my refridgerant out. Now I get to make him buy me a few cans of that stuff to fill it up from empty. Until then, driving around in 95+ heat with leather seats and no a/c is going to SUUUUUCK. And right now i'm doing most of my driving right after noon.

I really dislike how some businesses will get friends and neighbors to shill product to me. Preying upon my trust and friendship just makes you lose friends, and me hate humanity and corporations more. Also. Do some research before you shill, people. Just because you are also a local politician who knows how to scam people, doesn't mean that when one, you show up at dinner time when I'm cooking talking to my fiance that I two, don't know how to use the laptop next to me to search the company. I found out more about the company then you did. I like trusting people. I can't trust you anymore when I'm talking to you, because you tried to sell me something. During dinner. When I was cooking. And then you tried flattery. Well my my, aren't we good at scamming people, and knowing how to do it all proper like :/
End rant. Dinner was tasty though.

Step One: Catch First Torch. Step two: Follow shadow on ground. Step three: Turn in quest. Step 4: Go buy clothes for cheevo.
My point of dissatisfaction? Something is messing with the nerves in my right arm. When I stretch or flick it, I can feel a jolt running from my forearm down to the tips of my index and ring fingers.
This joins the muscles in my hip, the tendons in my knee and ankle(all on the same leg), the cyst on my left wrist that straddles the nerves and blood vessles in it, the lower back pain from time to time, and the chronic headaches I get in a collection that leads me to believe that I am going to have a very sore summer.
