Three times through my last semester, I got an email informing me that I was not completely all of my requirements for graduation, of course not actually mentioning which requirements were not being met. First two times I go down to the office and ask them about it, and get told, "Nope, all your requirements are showing up completed here, we just had some issues with the system, you have nothing to worry about."

Today, I get an email informing me that "Your candidacy for the Spring 2011 semester is incomplete. After reviewing your DARS it has been determined that your degree cannot be conferred for the spring 2011 semester due to missing requirements. As a result your current candidacy has been cancelled." -__-

Need to find out tomorrow if this was just an "error with the system" as well.

You don't belong here, Outlander.

Oh man, Morrowind is my favorite game, I really wish I could play it. I've been playing Oblivion to get back into the spirit before Skyrim comes out.

My computer can't handle Oblivion sad.gif . I'm hoping that once my internship starts in late August, it will only take a few months to save up for a much more powerful system so I can play Oblivion AND Skyrim.

Xbox, which drives me batty since I'm totally a PC gamer and some of the clunky controller controls make me cry a little on the inside. Not to mention I have to wear my glasses to read the text on the tv. sad.gif

The XBox version is inferior in every possible way. With the PC version, there are so many mods that change the body textures to look, you konw, real, and so many high quality texture replacers, plus the Morrowind Graphics Extender, the script extender, the unofficial patch and even the code patch, that you can make Morrowind look and run even better than Oblivion. Shell out the $10 for the Game of the Year edition (Morrowind + Tribunal + Bloodmoon) and hit up Planet Elder Scrolls. You'll never look at Morrowind the same way again.

Everiine, you're such a dork.

I played Morrowind on the xbox because my computer was old and couldn't handle the PC version (and now I have a mac so I can't play it at all) but I thought it was pretty amazing without the mods and anything like that. I did always get a little bit jealous looking at some of the cool stuff people had posted online though.

I'm something like 8,000 miles away from home.

It's been such nice weather but I have gotten an ear infection. One tonsil is swollen, I'm feeling malaise because of it, body is aching and burnt from too much time in the sun and water sports, I recently changed my hand soap and it turns out I'm allergic to it so my palms are incredibly itchy, and this blasted house lacks central air conditioning so being on my laptop makes the itchiness that much worse. We have one of those window ACs which does a nice job cooling the lounge down, but since my room is in the back of the house I have to wait for the wee hours of the morning before it gets cool enough for me to sleep comfortably.

I must buy a fan, but it seems like such a waste since it's meant to get a lot cooler in the coming weeks. However contact dermatitis is such a censor.gif to deal with and can take 3 weeks just to fully heal from it.

Good news is that I have aveeno anti-itch cream which has helped loads and has reduced the redness in my palms by quite a lot with just one application.

All I really want to do is bash and hang out in Lusternia but I feel so awful that I'm spending most of my time sleeping! But the silver lining is a Hoarders marathon. I'm going to watch that and feel a lot less sorry for myself.

That's some dissatisfaction all on its own.

I actually like it. The only downside is that not all games work on it.

You don't gotta tell me that the PC version is superior. tongue.gif I know how it goes. (is there a mod that makes people not walk like they have sticks up their butts? Because really. REALLY.)

I've been entrapped by TV Tropes. I blame Jack. sad.gif I'm gonna be at this all night now.

I wish I had a computer that could play games. I could totally afford one, but I don't have space for a desk in my room. And also I kind of want to get my own place so I can't be making big purchases for, like, several years.

Ugh. So tomorrow I'm going to some sort of interview with a bunch of other people to see if I get a job (finally), I'm really happy because it's the most interest any employer has actually shown me so far. The guy said he'd phone or text us with information on where and when it would be but until today hadn't, so I go looking for his contact details so I can be sure he hasn't just missed me off his list of people to tell and find that they've somehow been lost.

Ok, I think, I'll go to the internets, I know his name and the company he works for, shouldn't be too hard to find a phone number, should it? Wrong.

This seems to be the only company on the face of the planet that doesn't have a direct phone number, so I go to the venue they/we will be working at and see if THEY have his phone number, woman answers the phone, has no knowledge of anything and all the people that DO have information aren't there, plus they apparantly couldn't pass information to me anyway. Brilliant.

So I go to the Job agency that gave me his number originally, on hold for twenty minutes, talk to three different people before the third person just says "Ok, this'll take a while because they're no longer advertising with us, I'll phone you back.", wait thirty minutes, finally get given his number and get through to him only to find that he emailed me five seconds before I phoned (quite literally) with the details I'd been trying to get for two hours. Egads.

Still, on the plus side by tomorrow I MAY have a job. But I'm walking in blind, I don't know how many people are applying or how many positions they have...

It is obscenely hot outside. Even with plenty of water and a reflective white bike-shirt, I can't stay in the sun for more then 5 minutes without starting to overheat. And it's going to be hotter tomorrow. Guuuh.

Even Mississippi had to issue a heat warning for today, and these people are practically immune to it.

Pfft, the heat warning is only for those who don't live there(aka tourist) or haven't lived there long enough.

My rant is that I missed the Steam sale for Oblivion. sad.gif
