Team Fortress 2 is causing the USB driver on my laptop to hang. Argh. I either have to battery-restart the computer when it happens, or track down the USB drivers, force-end the process and then restart it manually. The latter is a pain, the former is bad for my PC. Sigh. I may just swear it off and switch over to Gang Garrison.

I thought my computer might have a virus, because Mudlet keeps randomly freezing/lagging out and then loading again, and MUSHclient does the same sort of thing except it kicks me off the server. Except I tried a different computer on a different network, and it still did the same thing. sad.gif

Just once?

One of my friends noticed I was muttering "say" under my breath before talking.

I had no idea. blackeye.gif

Haha. When I used to play way too much, I would stutter "say" before every sentence.

*narrow* (...can I farm more welkynd stones that way?)

Seriously though, Oblivion can feel overwhelming at times. I have to level up, get more spells(being a mage sucks), and visit dungeons to farm gold. Oh, did I also mention that I have three quests that involve me repairing buildings which I have inherited? Every single one of them goes something like this:
"Ooh! I got a new building!" "...oh, I have to pay 12,500 gold in total to repair it." "Ooh! I found a cove!" "...I have to pay 10,000 gold to just repair a portion of it!?" " censor.gif this. I am going to go visit more caves."

(However, there is one secret hideout thing that has a shrine to Sithis and it looks so freaking cool!)

Magic system in Oblivion does not reward high-level mages. Spells can only go to a certain degree of power. Hopefully Skyrim'll fix that.

You clearly never learned to abuse the spellcrafting system.

I think you can. I know the dungeons reset/respawn every....7 days I think? Oh and yah I've got all the addons (except for the horse armor one) for oblivion on my xbox. I completely understand your feelings. I would however recommend just playing the game and enjoying the quests as you'll get more gold as you continue on.

A good site, if you need help and don't know about it, is http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page its the Elder Scrolls Wiki. I use it...a lot.

--edit: No, actually you cannot. Welkynd Stones unfortunately do not respawn and there is a total of 696 guaranteed Welkynd Stones and 15 possible in the dungeon of Vahtacen. sad.gif Sorry

Now Alchemy. That is FUN to abuse. And it never feels too broken either! <3 700 dmg poisons.

I want to learn Lockpicking, not because of any criminal intents, but just because it seems fascinating and enjoyable. I am unsure of the legality of it in North Carolina however.
