I have the sinking feeling we're going to lose the Doms vs subs softball game next month. They're mostly female and better at working as a team. I haven't played baseball in years and never tried softball. >_<

What is this? It sounds awesome. O_O Also. >.> If the Doms don't win I would be severely disappointed.

Is there a word in Urban Dictionary for someone who reads their tweets and Facebook message exchanges out loud to demonstrate how funny and clever they are? Douchebag springs to mind, but surely there's something snappier.

Douchebag is pretty apt.

Being under the weather when it's lovely and sunny outside. Screw you outdoors.

Attempted transition from QWERTY to Dvorak after nineteen years of the former is hard. sad.gif

What will you do when you need to use someone else's computer that has a keyboard that's qwerty again?

Henpeck with both index fingers.

I have no intention of losing my competency with QWERTY.

EDIT: Alternatively, switch their keyboard settings to use Dvorak. suspicious.gif

So I'm curious- you're not the first person I've seen over the past few days talking about changing to Dvorak. Did I miss something here that suddenly makes it cool, or is it just coincidence? :?

Coincidence, I assume. Every now and then I decide to try something new for funsies. Generally, this ends up looking something like this after a week, though slightly less dramatic.

It's one of the challenges in VVVVVV. Hardest one I've done yet. ~600 deaths and 70 minutes. BUT VICTORY IS MINE.

EDIT: Here, I asked youtube to find me a video of what getting that damn shiny trinket actually entails: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CtiY5D6HCs

We won bowling, so they voted for softball next time on the theory that it's a team sport and they'll have a leg up. I'll let you know how it goes.

Huh, funny coincidence, I was considering learning Dvorak a couple days ago too. But it'd probably suck for me as a gamer and it apparently takes way too much time to learn if you're using anything else in the meantime.

And I'm reminded why I haven't played the damn game in so long. I bought it last year, I did not have to register when I bought it and first started playing, I should not have to track down the damn serial number to play it now, when the process is a major pita.
