I had at least two fire alarms a week, and one was planned every Tuesday morning. Then there would be the weeks where we would have them every day, and multiple times a day/night because people were too lazy to step out the two feet from their doors to the outside or the people in my hall couldn't cook worth :censor: and burned everything. That dorm sucked.

Anyways, eight hour drive tomorrow. Not looking forward to it.

Look at things on the bright side. That's 8 hours with no fire alarms tongue.gif

More reason to enjoy that 8 hours while it lasts tongue.gif
j/k, dorms are an awesome experience(even though they are generally trash pits).

A maintenance guy at work set off the buildings fire alarm(s) today. Turns out one of the alarm box thingies is in the ceiling perfectly centred above the cubicle I was working in. One of the incredibly deafeningly loud I am going to break someone in half if it ever makes a sound again alarm box thingies.

This will be my fourth year living in one. This will be the nicest one though, it's a converted hotel and there's only been one year of students in them.

I want to do things, but my headaches have been acting up lately, so I end up sleeping away a lot of the day,

I lived in probably the crappiest dorm in town back in 08. It was newly remodeled though, so it looked nice. But we still had lots of roaches and the lowest quality roommates.

My current place is off-campus in the basement of a house, living with 3 other guys. There's another one who rents a room but is here maybe 30 minutes a week. Very nice place, newly remodeled. We only pay electricity. Water, internet, and cable are free.

And I sat down and went over August, and I'm in the good. In the good enough that I bought my new phone tonight. smile.gif

I don't know if I get paid next week or the week after... I hope next week, because $30 is going to be really hard to stretch. Thank goodness I can bike to work every day and people are still in the "Let's Feed the Intern" stage.

Yeah, can't afford insurance anymore due to the politcal scene, so, I've just kind of accepted the fact that if something happens, i'm censor.gif ed.

I must find a way to open this FRANCHISE in America. I am starting to have withdrawals.

I'm moving today? Have I packed yet? Nope. Do I want to? Not particularly.

I drank too much. My head hurts. Mrrrrrr.
But at least I got profit sharing... which led to the unfortunate scenario above!

So it wasn't an auto-immune disease, I have pancreatic cancer. This in itself isn't too annoying as I'm apparantly in the very lucky 20% of people where it's operable but the surgery is going to put me out of commission for three months and there's six months of chemo on top of that... So I don't get to go to Uni next year, wouldn't be able to catch up after that.
