I should annotate this post. I just found out last week that my blood pressure is a bit higher than I should like....147/85.
So eat in moderation, folk. I am not legally liable for any advice. :D
Should move to rare pork. I hear good things.

Lazy half is beating me up for taking all these damn art classes. Lazy half much prefers classes I can just space out for an hour or two and be done with and never have to think about once I go home. I have spent the past hour organizing a list of all the supplies I need to go buy and trying to plot in my head the least inconvenient way to carry them around each day. So far I've come to the conclusion of grow an extra arm, hope it doesn't rain.

Rave: Started a new (much needed) job yesterday.
Rant: Too tired to play Lusternia, now. My poor, sore feet feel like they've been run over by a semi. :(

Phoebus: a tackle box is invaluable for carrying around brushes, paints, sticks of conte, charcoal, erasers, pastel bricks, the 5,000 different pencils they make you get, etc. As for big dumb pads of newsprint, a garbage bag isn't very elegant but will keep the rain off.

Getting wisdom teeth pulled in ~12 hours. Will be super duper painful.
Razenth2012-02-01 00:11:18
Depends. General practitioner? Heck yes. Oral surgeon? Should be okay.
Unknown2012-02-01 00:38:49
It's not super painful, generally. The worst part is the dull throbbing for the next week.

Drink lots of water for a good week and a half afterwards, too! Dry socket is the pits. Also plan on eating a lot of foods that don't require much chewing while the soreness fades.

I drank lots of water and ate lots of packet noodles and pudding, it wasn't a very good few weeks. I think the only thing that helped kick withdrawal from caffeine was that I was on a few painkillers.
You'll be fine though!

Follow their directions when they tell you not to eat solids for a week! And use the mouthwash! I was able to eat nice food after that week, and no dry socket or anything. Didn't even hurt that much after the first day.

Though, if they happen to mention that there might be holes going between where your upper teeth were and your nasal cavity... they know what they're talking about. Incidentally my left nostril gets mighty cold occasionally now >_>.

That's pretty rare. You're special!

55 dollars for a box of friggin' colored paper. And that's the cheap one. I guess it's less than a textbook would be for a class, but those are stupid expensive too, and I can't sell back a box of colors to anyone.

Teeth successfully removed. Pain = negligable, leaving me to wonder why they even gave me hydrocodone.

Why is this a dissatisfaction?
People tend to whine a lot about the pain, so maybe you're some crazy exception? Be happy!

It gets worse on the second day.

And the pain continually increases over the next week or so.
Enjoy

Basically this.

It doesn't always, I was back at work the next day. On painkillers of course but not bad. The sockets and icky gauze were the most annoying thing about it.
Fingers crossed for you.
