Went and bought some new slacks today at TJ Maxx. I wear 38 x 30 pants, so since I didn't see a dressing room, I just went ahead and bought the 38x30's. Well, they didn't fit very well. I had to fight them to button them. So I took them back and exchanged them for some 40x30 of the exact same pants. These were smaller. Can't button them up at all, unlike the 38's. TJ Maxx has a weird system for sizing pants I guess. I'll take these back tomorrow, get my refund, and go somewhere else.

Family 'fun' on easter. My brother visits, give gifts and whatnot (I didn't think we were really celebrating easter this year, so I'll have to go and buy him a ton of discount chocolate tomorrow), Mom harasses him about finishing his apprentiship, which is fair enough he should have finished it a while back, and then the argument falls to the current family favorite. Her yelling at him repeatedly for moving out during the time when I was ill and slagging off the person he's now living with (and sort of having a relationship with, I'd say it's complicated but it's pretty simple, they're both too scared of any real commitment), saying she's too old for him and a slag (she's like twelve years older than him, but bare in mind that the difference in my parents age is a whopping twenty-one years)
And then he took the gloves off, retorting that she's not a slag and that whilst she may be middle aged and not really having had a commitment yet, at least she's better than my mother, who at her age was married to my father and having two affairs in quick succession. So yeah, I only knew about the one affair she'd had, so that was a fun way to find out about the other. And the argument just devolved into incoherant screaming from there.
Edit: Yeah this may seem like too much info, but I just needed somewhere to rant. On the plus side I finally caught Articuno on pokemon, been trying to do that for days. Things are looking up :P
