Not sure how I managed this one.

Seeing as I'm building a new computer, I'll post my specs in another thread!

I'm (mostly) fine with having to boot into Windows to play games and whatnot. The lack of a Linux-compatible Netflix client at this point in time, however, is utterly inexcusable.

Lack of a linux-compatible Netflix client is surprising. Netflix is on almost everything. The Kindle Fire was still new when I got it, and I could download Netflix immediately.

Spring break is over... :( I don't know if I can get back into the swing of classes. I have grown too attached to Lusternia time again! There were so many freaking projects I was supposed to have done this past week that I did not do yet. BUT I TOTALLY DID SOME QUESTS YOU GUYS. Oh god I'm so screwed.
Stangmar2012-04-11 18:22:44
Spring break was a month ago for us. Classes end on the 25th, and finals go on for the week following that. I'm not worried so much about finals, but all of the major projects that I have due before that. I just don't have the time, and my sanity is wearing away. If I don't get straight A's this semester, my GPA could fall below 3.5 and my scholarship will be gone.

I don't sleep well.

Exams and essays. Nghglabskdh. <-- my brain functions
Stangmar2012-04-12 01:56:15
That's how my head is functioning right now. My roommates have noticed a change in my mood/behavior over the last couple of weeks. I assured them that things will be better come May 5. I refuse to take summer classes. I'm just going to relax and work this summer.

Well, I graduate this year, I just have to hold out until April 19th, my last take home exam is due then and I'm moving the same day.

Hah, I know the feeling. I have an 800 word assignment due on monday (which was assigned for us to do during the first week of our so-called 'break'). and I've barely made a dent in the damn thing. Gonna have to go all out this weekend. Thankfully it is basically a recap of my 'journal' entries I've made over the past 6 weeks of semester.
Stangmar2012-04-12 22:46:20
800 words? I could do that in an hour or two ;)
Unknown2012-04-12 22:52:35
800 words is tiny. You'll spend more time proofreading then writing.

That's where my professors always get me. Proofreading issues.

Proofreading is not an issue with me. I'm one proper mother ########.

Uh yeah, the two things I'm doing for tomorrow are one being at least 2000 words, the other being roughly 4000 (it's a take home exam) all said and done.

When aiming for a 800 word essay, I write a beautiful essay that is approximately 1000 words long and then painstakingly try to reduce it to 800 in some manner.

I spend more time editing so that it's the right size than I do anything else. :(

I think i'm done with MS Word for good after tonight. It's very painstaking to write a 10 page paper when your word processor crashes after each paragraph. Guess I'll have to force myself to adjust to LibreOffice's quirks.

Openoffice?

That's what writing's all about. It's a hell of a lot harder to reduce than produce. Producing a first draft is always like frolicking in an enchanted glade - producing a second draft is like drowning puppies in a well.
