I thought I had one assignment due tomorrow, but instead I have two.
Oh, fiddlesticks.
Oh, fiddlesticks.

So, apparently our electric bill didn't get paid last month. We each give our share of the bill to the roommate who has the bill in his name, and then he goes and pays it. Well apparently he didn't pay it last month. Going to be a fun convo when he gets back into town tomorrow night.

Bleh... Pretty bad day today, though nothing terrible has really happened, I've just been feeling fairly depressed through most the day (which I haven't really had in a over a year).
In addition to this, as some of you may know, I got fatty liver disease due to rapid weight loss after my surgery a few months back (this is context, don't worry, nothing new is wrong with me), a symptom of which is lack of hunger. So I go through most the day without getting hungry but I still get grumpy if I haven't eaten (and on occasion, light headed), so it's 7pm, haven't eaten today, go downstairs to find that all the food I'd bought earlier today has been eaten by my mother, so there's pretty much nothing in the house to eat. My reaction was... Disproportionate, which is dissapointing because I'm usually sort a "Meh, not worth getting worked up about." sort of person (IRL at least), really should be in better control of emotions.
Ends on a higher note though, went out, bought more food, got my dad some pastries in revenge and am currently eating some pre-dinner crumpets and sipping some delicious slightly cinnamon-ey coffee

Just tasted a V8 Fusion for the first time. I'd sooner drink water from Poseidon's salty butthole than consume another V8 Fusion.

I am now going to use "By Poseidon's salty butthole!" as an exclamation in real life. Count on it.

They're disgusting, eh?
I tried it once.
Right about that time I stopped drinking all forms of vegetable/fruit juice.

Looks like I'll stick with good old Mountain Dew, we've had a long steady relationship and she's never stepped out on me.

There was a period of a few months where, for medical reasons, I had to drink V8 Fusion regularly. Thank goodness it was for a limited time. I can endure almost anything if I know it's got a specific day when it will end.

Panic attack while exciting things were going on in-game, sorry I had to duck out there for a few hours.

My stove is dead, or at least, it's dying. I can't bake or cook at all anymore, or make dinner in general. And new stoves are expensive :( This is bad, meeeer. Normally I'd say repair the old stove, but apparently the old stove is so old, you can't even find parts anymore. :(

Electric griddles are pretty awesome if you need a stove replacement. They even have ones with grills for indoor bbq stuff. As for a replacement oven.. hrmm.. Easy Bake? I kid.
Shulamit2012-04-24 23:34:03
The stove top itself is fine, so we're told. It's the actual oven part. So...pasta and hamburger helper more often, I suppose. I'm afraid the rest of the stove is going to die though, whenever I use it.
Stangmar2012-04-25 05:04:18
Lol, we use our oven for storage.
macaroni & cheese, canned chili, and grilled cheese sandwiches are my staples. And mountain dew of course.
So after the past week, I have decided that Libreoffice really is worthless and temperamental. I'm going to break down and purchase Microsoft Office this summer, since I can get it for the student price of $99. I need MS Access anyway for my Accounting Information Systems class. LibreOffice has been difficult to type papers in, it messes with my footnotes and creates random formatting woes for no reason. I can not get it to behave correctly. The powerpoint knockoff is a joke as well. I had to give a presentation in Professional Writing yesterday, and when I pulled up my presentation file on the classroom computer, it was corrupted. So I had to wing it without slides. Fortunately I'm a good speaker and I know my shiz. Had another presentation for Business Ethics today. Once again, another corrupt file, so I had to go on without slides. Libreoffice has failed me in a most epic manner.

I've used OpenOffice for a few years now, with no problems at all.

What is the abomination?
No, seriously. Canned chili?
(also, Open Office can be hard on the resources)
Shulamit2012-04-25 09:58:13
I bake a lot, I'm well known for cookie and cakes and such. Also yeah, canned chili sounds evil. I take short cuts in my chili, but I don't have it canned. Though, I could make chili and can it...hmmmm. This might be a good thing. Time to find the canning cooking pot and stuff. And I guess start using the bread machine. Oh please don't also die bread machine. I love you too much.
Stangmar2012-04-25 18:39:35
Canned chili is not that bad. I've eaten it cold out of the can before while camping.
