Well... the laptop's sound port worked for a bit... and then it didn't. It's integrated sound.

So I hunted online and found the part. $50 later, I have a replacement being shipped from France.

It was literally the only place that wasn't gonna charge me $150+ for shipping.

Ugh. I wouldn't even bother except the computer is my father's.

Don't like this sudden bout of sickness creeping up on me after a couple of late nights spent studying. Nose is congested and everything hurts. T_T

Trying to clean up my hardrive, free up some space. Everytime I do this i end up staring at WoW's massive 33GBs. I just can't bring myself to delete it, even when I haven't played the game in months, because I just know eventually I'm going to want to play again, and I REALLY don't want to have to re-install WoW. That :censor: takes FOREVER.

Despite having not played WoW for months, my copy is still up to date.

I don't know why. I just keep it up to date.

External drive perhaps? But 33GB really? I think the new installers optimize it now. Mine's only 16GB, upgraded all the way.

The longer you've been playing WoW, the bigger it gets.

It's like a tumor. A tumor that you should excise, but you just like knowing it's still there. Like a friend. Always ready to take you back.

Heh, I've been playing since Vanilla, maybe I don't have as many addons as he does.

I tried to concentrate so hard on the complicated part of my homework that I have made myself feel like I'm going to throw up, which is now stopping me from making any progress at all. Dammit that is the opposite of what I wanted. :(

It's also a struggle to even get started, since I'm drawing at 18x24 and there is literally no surface in the house large enough to work on besides the dining room table (which BARELY fits it), a completely flat surface that I can't angle to make less extremely awkward to draw on, and which has an unfortunate lighting situation. The light is right above the table and casts a glare over the top half of the paper, so I have to keep turning the drawing so the bit I need to get at it closer to me, which is just messing with my head.

ventventvent argh dammit friggin i hate art

Nope, I haven't used any addons since BC. That's weird that mine would be so much larger though. =/

Maybe something dumb like, the files for the old continents didn't get replaced when I updated to Cataclysm, and are just sitting there unused?

Hrmmm maybe it could be old patch files? Maybe those might take up a lot of space.

My dad woke up yesterday with Bell's palsy. The right side of his face is paralyzed, and he has to wear an eyepatch to help keep moisture in his eyes. They think he has shingles as well, which they say probably caused the Bell's.

Got a new CPU. Bad news: turns out my motherboard cant handle it. To make things worse my old CPU is now randomly deciding to shut my computer off entirely. Welp, time to drop $200+ to rebuild my computer from the ground up.

Sorry to hear that! My favourite teacher in high school woke up that way one day as well, which was really hard for him as an actor.

My game budget for this month allows for one game. I'm eyeballing Total War: Shogun 2,but Fall of the Samurai seems interesting too.

Barring a lucky side-job, I can only afford one. :|

Pushing my procrastination to dangerous levels.

My sick/'wounded' dog is driving me crazy. We just CAN'T stop him from screwing with the bandages and stitches with what we've got, and I think he's getting legitimately sick from it now. Not fun for any parties concerned, and I feel like a really terrible pet owner.

The oven is now been confirmed to be dead. Which means I have to draw money that's already dangerously low, and buy a new one. This is going to be incredibly painful. Oh well. It just...needs to be cheap, and have self cleaning. I suspect the second part will be easy to find, but not the first one. Meer...
