Hrm, maybe it is. I would have thought stratagems would stop functioning if you ran out of Mana or Ego rather than continuing to attempt, resulting in losing a battle on the first "attack".

I forgot why I hated hospital visits so much, aside from the bill.
Nasty, nasty leftover flavors from a week of being stuck with nasty, nasty IVs. Yuck. I just want food to taste normal, not like everything is drowned in Splenda :(

Chocolate never tasted the same after my last visit. So sad, hope it wears off for you :(

M&M waits for prompt, and then inserts your action in a stratagem, after you already have eq/balance back.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious here. But what's the point of using a stratagem if its entering it in -after- getting eq/balance back?
Unknown2012-05-12 21:26:45
I don't use stratagems much because it messes with the bal/eq timing/tracking AND it doesn't execute my aliases, so you have to add it and let it ride or remember what you added to change it before it executes...

Hmmm, dunno if they simply misread what I was saying, but here is the response I got back:
Seems a little crazy that losing almost 9% of a circle is NOT considered a bug, particularly when I will have to influence at least a couple of hundred denizens to make it back.
Bug #3472 Resolution: Your report has been reviewed and is not considered a bug. If you feel it is
a game balance concern, you should speak to your guild envoy.

Is it typical to lose 8% of a circle at 90th circle from a single ego battle? before I got
disconnected I was 66.05% until next circle. When I was able to reconnect I found myself 74.88% to
next circle - a loss of 8.83% of a circle, seems like a severe loss for one ego battle.

That seems about right for a death at that level, which is what the influence loss is supposed to mimic.
EDIT2: Yeah, dying at high levels is rough. While bashing at near-titan levels, you can lose an entire day of bashing with a bad death, depending on how fast you can bash.
EDIT1: Though it's been a while since I've been pre-demi, so I may be off a bit. It makes good logic to me that influencing 'deaths' should be a bit worse than bashing deaths though, if your log/bug is a bit higher than normal.

That's the thing, I had lost a battle from another disconnect earlier, which was only a 1.6% loss. Why would it suddenly jump to almost 9%? Makes no sense.
Svorai2012-05-13 22:56:46
I remember losing ridiculous xp% when I lost an ego battle compared to dying in my 90s. It's fair - it's pretty hard to lose an ego battle, unless you do disconnect, go afk, or for some reason can't move out of a room. I know it happened to me less than five times. When you do it once, you are pretty careful not to let it happen again.
It's far easier to die while bashing - critters gang up on you, so I'm okay with the loss being smaller. I'm waiting for critters to start mass influencing us :3

Plus influence battles don't require praying, and you can hop back into influencing after you sip a bit.

I've had it happen before when the influence set up I use bugs out and switches to another denizen while the previous one is still in battle, once ended up with 3 debating me at once. Still managed to win (VERY luckily - though I used a ton of bromide)
Enyalida2012-05-13 23:46:48
At that point, I'd just walk away and wait for them to calm down, which usually only takes like 30 seconds!

I feel vaguely sickened for some reason. Not vomit-ish, but disgusted. I have no idea why..

Today is my first day of 10 and 1/2 hour shifts. Last week I was doing 7 and 1/2. Needless to say, myself, and the majority of the other people who work with me, are unimpressed. I want to stab something, mainly because I have to wake up far earlier than I've had to in months.

I got yelled at by a lady on the phone today while trying to authenticate her (per bank rules). She said I was wasting her time. I was professional and followed up with her RM and he found out the check I was calling on was fraudulent. I just saved her company $31,000.00. Pretty sure she owes me an apology.

Teehee, 85. That's cute, it's regularly that hot here in winter. Temps in excess of 100 degrees, on the other hand, are in store for this summer.
Ytran2012-05-15 02:22:34
We get 100s in summer too. It's only spring so far. :C
