Make sure you rinse it with water, too. Water dries (mostly) clean, so you shouldn't really have to worry about it causing any problems so long as you let it dry completely. Milk is much nastier.

Somehow introducing more liquid to the system doesn't seem like the smartest idea. If it does end up becoming foul I shall simply get a new one, or become used to the one I'm using now. Probably the former option.

I hit the wrong button. I don't really like you spilling milk on your keyboard! I was going to echo what Tylan said, which is that I have always found it worth the risk of rinsing it with a little water to avoid complications later on.

If you have enough, you can soak it in WD-40... but it's easier to just buy a new keyboard.

So in addition to a bird taking out my mirror, my A/C(which I just got working REALLY well), has bit the dust again. Never buy a car with leather seats....especially if it's a Toyota/Lexus product......

only if the keyboard doesn't have polycarbonate or polystyrene. (which some do)

If it isn't a media keyboard and doesn't have an usb hub you can actually put it in a dishwasher and it will still work given you tape off the connector, let it dry and don't use the heated drying. (might nolonger be able to read the keys though)
I regularly pry of my keyboard keys and clean it with distilled water or technical alcohol depending on the degree of dirt in it and it is still going strong.

I hate bureaucratic red tape. I have been going through hell again getting my FAFSA filed, just like last year. I got selected again for student verification(ie, audit). Hopefully by tomorrow I will have everything resolved.

Boy's car was making abnormal sounds the other night. He refuses to believe me when I tell him it's because of a Mogwai infestation and that he needs to submerge it in a body of water disassemble it in the sunlight. to kill them off :/
EDIT: Wrong thing. The water bit was just so I could prove my theory right. >.>

Where I come from, felons who moon people get arrested for indecent exposure.
Just had to wait for the long weekend to be over so the paperwork could get done. Not all Marshals work weekends and holidays.

As further proof that I am the shame of females everywhere, it took me nearly 10 minutes to unhook my own bra today. Sigh. This is starting my day off on a strangely tragic note.

I want to go look at and possibly buy a car but I have no way to get to any dealerships. :/

Fly to my house, I will take you to car places.

Somehow that doesn't quite seem logistically sound.

Like 3am coffee stops being a good idea once it's way past 3am and you cannot get to sleep no matter what.
oh god, so tired.

I just spent $37 ordering a replacement mirror glass. I wish I could bring that bird back from the dead just so I could kill it again.

I've been an owner of rats for years. My favourite, Nemo, however, passed away yesterday via a rather gruesome display of what I can only assume was suicide.
I can only hope his brother, Zoinks, who has been his cage-mate since they were separated from their mother a year and a half ago, doesn't get too depressed and end up passing as well. :( Apparently a few good hours of cuddling, crying, listening to the rain, and nearly an entire bag of nilla wafers together goes a long way for his mood, though.

I got angry at my ear not unclogging, so I punched it, and now my ear hurts and I still can't hear out of it. I'm starting to think that wasn't the best idea.

You might need to get it syringed out - what you described about it not unblocking is a typical characteristic of a wax buildup - DO NOT try to ease it using a cotton bud, it will just make it worse. If you feel confident that you might be able to do it yourself and have some 3% sodium peroxide solution and a syringe you can find out how to do it online, but it is probably safer to go to the doctors and see about getting one of the nurses to do it for you.

Yeah, I know the score. This happens to me every few months. Never stops being annoying.

My new computer not being built until Sunday.... ;-; All the parts are here and waiting to be built but we've got stuff to do tomorrow and dad's like "You want me to build it now or build it right?"
