Chalk up another night with 0 sleep. Thats a 0 as in never even caught the bus to dreamland. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to drive out of town today. And to make it all better my father called me for the first time in about six months. Yeah, he didn't even know he called me. I had fun playing psychic and telling him he was taking the grandson to school and the kid ate an apple pop tart.

Being stuck in hospital from 7am to 8pm the other day with plastic tube in arm. My arm is all bruised now, but I am on strong painkillers wheeee

They took some of my blood for tests, and kept the tube in it all day just in case they had to take more.
I've been getting pains in my abdomen for the past week or so, and have been to the doctors twice, he sent me on to the hospital. So I was there all day being poked and proded and all sorts of samples and scans done on me, also not to mention all the embarrassing questions they asked. And in the end, all they came up with was that I had fluid on my pelvis and I had to wait for it to be absorbed, and that's painful. Thus, the cause of my pain. The painkillers only work for so long, and I can only take 8 in one day. And the other one I can only take 2 in one day.

It's been raining for the past week, and now we have floods everywhere in town. I have to wear my welly-boots, but they don't even work. The water goes over the top and I get wet feet

Have you tried putting a rubber seal around the tops?

There are many different types of people in the world. Kind, friendly, altrusitic, selfish, angry...

But there is one type of people that I can really do without. The petty destructive ones.

In my home city Bergen, each year around the end of November, beginning of December, we build something called the "Gingersnap Village". The world's largest city made entirely from Gingersnap cookies. It is a very fun event, and it's a real tradition for us in Bergen. It is especially fun for the youngest, and most kindergartens and schools work hard to create interesting gingersnap houses to be put on display in the Village. Then, during all of december, everyone can come and see the village in all its spicy glory.

Maybe not this year.

Some vandals have broken into the hall where the village was being prepared and have smashed every single house on the night right after all kids of the city were invited to decorate blank houses that volunteers had spent weeks setting up. And just to ensure that none of the houses could be fixed up again, they poured black paint all over the place, creating a huge mess and a lot of work all the while trying to ruin a Bergen children Advent tradition.

These are the kind of people I cannot stand for. Oh we'll probably build it up again. We're pretty good at dugnad so that's no problem. But that people can be so unbelieveably petty as to ruin the work of children. It just leaves me at a loss. Frustrated, angry and sad.

That's just pointles and cruel. I hope they catch whoever did it. A real shame that it takes very little to ruin the work of so many others. It sounds like a fun tradition and I hope it doesn't get called off this year.

Lets see something to be disatisfied about to keep on topic... Oh yeah.. My tv is busted and I can't play my Ps3 now with Assassins Creed 2 coming out. Angryface!
