It's Family Day, it's also Reading Week. Boo.

I hate you all. The Dean had to come to our classes and tell the professors to let us go. We didn't have today off to begin with, and we never cancel classes until the last possible moment. This is the first time our campus has shut down because of snow, while everyone else around has been off at least 3 times this past week.

I know your pain, I live in a place that gets a lot of snow. It takes a huge amount for the thought to even cross the administrations minds that it should probably be closed. They usually wait until 4pm to cancel.

Dear Lusternia,

Today, while cooking some scrambled eggs on high, a boiling pocket of butter exploded and covered my torso in searing hot grease, leaving a dozen, blotchy third degree burns. They sting.

Cooking in the nude is unhealthy, my friend.

Let me tell you, I had a friend who tried to fry jalapeno poppers (homemade) in the same state.. not only did he get splattered in bad places, he went to cover them with unwashed, jalapeno-oil hands..

Let's not go any further.

Just to review:

1. Bad weather the entirety of my vacation
2. Bad haircut given by a stylist my mother recommended
3. Depression
4. I got home today and my car is dead in the garage.

Trying (and right now not suceeding) to cram 30 weeks of intensive language study into 15 weeks. Who thought this was a good idea?

That's what they decided to do with the French class at my college last semester. Here's how it went:

So. My father was fired today. Now, untill he finds a job, we'll have to deal with paying bills and expenses(Two colleges, two cars, a house, crippling medical expenses, a second loan) that were already causing finance hemmorage on half the income. Guess I'm turning that summer job into just a normal job...

Also, coming back and finding out that people have been gossiping behind my back is not pleasant. If you're reading this, make sure I don't find you.

Relative died today.

I am craving a cheesesteak with mushrooms and onions so hard. I was going to get one after class today but some genius decided that the cafeteria must close at 2pm on Fridays now, and I got out of class at 2:20. I have been sitting here desperately trying to get rid of the cravings for hours now, to no avail.

My mom's loser boyfriend got out of jail...

I am having intermittent internet problems. I keep getting booted from Lusty every once in a while, but it's not such a big deal. What it does mean though is that I can't play Myst Online: Uru Live Again .

Seriously. He didn't take me until I switched to diet pepsi.
