/pat I would say I know your pain but that rarely happens to me. However I am forced to run with about 6 fps in icc25, whereas I get like 20+ in icc10. Weird.
I used to do 10 mans fine with my old computer, except the AOE fest in the Kara ballroom. 25s I'd get less than 1 FPS and simply couldn't function. Did Lurker exactly once, each trash pull was like a slide show, and I dodged one spout and got stuck in the water because I couldn't manage to jump back out with my framerate issues. Then I get an awesome new computer and can't raid because of my work schedule and guild drama, so now I use my gig of video RAM to play Lusternia.

It sucks that whenever I make an alt, they're wildly successful in a very short period of time, but my main wallows in BS and suckery. Especially when my main is the one I'm truly invested in.
It's a real kick in the teeth when you can reliably get an alt up quite a few CR and GR's, socially respected and highly involved, higher level and far more wealthy by several magnitudes than your main... in a period of like 3-4 months. And your main accomplishes none of those things.

See, the thing between main and alts is.. mains are well known generally or have a reputation, alts are seen as fresh and malleable and don't have a reputation. It was definitely easier to do things on Mieari than it was on Dylara.

Yeah, one of the best parts about playing an alt is that they don't have all the baggage your main has. I made an alt once. Had wild fun playing it. Didn't have to worry about people treating me differently or nothing, and I could explore parts of the game I'd never be able to access on my main (i.e. griefing! or trying to at least). Was awesome.

I dislike people who are easy to offend, difficult to please, slow to forgive, and quick to judge.
What about those of us who are three out of four?

How the heck am I supposed to make the right friends though?? I feel like none of the "right" people want anything to do with me. Everytime I try to talk or be friendly with them, I feel like I'm just brushed off.
And how exactly am I supposed to "seize the day?"
I always offer my help to everyone, I always do my best to assist with any request made of me.

No good deed goes unpunished. Lusternia does, in microcosmos, show why despotical rules such as Monarchy and Tyranny are more efficient than governmental systems based on liberalism.

Extremely rude idiots cussing me out. I do not get paid enough at my minimum wage food service job to come home broke, carless, and feeling like crap every single night.

I cannot seem to login to the website to submit my Bardic.
I guess this is what I get for waiting until the last second.

I know how it is to put up with that. I used to work as a customer service (billing and light tech support) rep for a cable company.
I still get cussed out at my current job, but it's all in text, so I can sit here and say to myself, "LOL U MAD BRO?" rather than getting upset about it. I just wish everyone had that luxury. :/
You know I you and am thinking of you, Harky.
My rant: Ongaku.
That is all.

This is part of the reason why I stopped working this past weekend, between the move, finals and upcoming exams for the spring semester, I'm already stressed out. I don't need customers to make it worse.

Dunno why you let that get to you. Service jobs suck, but chances are you'll rarely if ever see these people again. Just let them say what they want, and laugh about it later.

I took it personally, then fixed the problem. I think it made me a better employee than the jaded ones. It's not like you can do your job effectively if you ignore emotional cues.
