That's almost as sad as the story about the parents who got 2 years for starving their baby to death as they raised an online baby.
Ugh... sometimes just... GUH!
There are no comprehensible words for how I feel about that. ><

Finals due in a week, exams in two, and moving immediately after exams. Thank god for this weekend, I get to see my boyfriend for the first time in a month, and my mum and me are finally getting around to setting up my bedroom at her apartment since she we never expected I would move back before I finished my degree.
Oh yeah, I live in a box more or less here, (pretty much always had box rooms but they were bigger than this at least ), and they're installing new blinds tomorrow and asked us to move any furniture we had near the window away. The furniture they supply us is heavy, and there is no where else to move it without making it so no one can enter the room. So, I decided to clear off my desk and they can deal with it, and a very grouchy me tomorrow morning.

Stupid lightning storm! Knocked out my power and in turn I had to quickly shut down my comp during at 25 icc!!!! ARGH.
Felicia2010-06-03 07:32:02
We had quite a bit of lightning in my area, too.
That may explain why my Internet's being dicey at the moment.

This connection lag is so damned frustrating.
I finally learned how to translate all of my CMUD aliases, triggers, scripts and the like to MUSHclient, but it's difficult to test with all the three-to-five-second pauses.
Le sigh. Why can't the stupid cable company screw up while I'm sleeping or doing something else? Argh.

Dentist visit today to find out why the right side of my mouth was hurting all the time. Well joy, both wisdom teeth were rotted. No, seriously rotted. Oh joy, and me with no insurance. Luckily, mum is paying till I can pay her back. Oh, and laughing gas is only 30 bucks, which is the only reason why I agreed to get them pulled today, if I got to not care about it (the needles they use to inject the novaicane (and the taste of the stuff) makes me start to sob. horribly. luckily, fiance is snuggly, and was there). Bleeding from the empty spots still, a bit...it's been hours. I can taste the novaicane in the blood, since he used so much to make sure I wouldn't feel anything. Well, nasty taste is better than screaming when they pulled them. And now under the effects of vicodine? which means I get to stay here at mums for the night. Joy, joy. Hates hates haes hates hates pain. At least the pain is gone, it's just...sore...

Ah yes, abscessed wisdom teeth.
I had one (just one) abscessed wisdom tooth when I was younger, and it kinda started while we were on vacation in Maine. The tooth hurt so terribly, it would keep me awake at night. I'd cry, and my mother would get very upset with me because she thought it was just a normal toothache and that I was being childish. It also tasted awful.
Well, we were eating lobster in a restaurant one evening, and the tooth just disintegrated into bits and pieces. At that point, of course, we couldn't wait 'til we got home any longer, and my parents got me a dentist's appointment right there in Maine. The dentist took one look at the demolished tooth and told my mother, "I'd lie awake at night crying if I'd had one of those, too. The pain must have been excruciating."
Needless to say, Mom felt extremely guilty about chewing me out for the nighttime crying fits, and to this day I still occasionally tease her about it. "Hey Mom, remember that time in Maine when I had a toothache and...." "I KNOW."
