Great Lakes lake effect snow doesn't affect all the areas around the Great Lakes, but just specific areas, generally east of those lakes.

Shame that doesn't show Ontario on it.
Looking up, I'm in the effect area though, just not the same.
But it's still getting technical over a joke. But that's my fault.

Maybe you should relax with a cold beer and nice plate of Boston wings.

People here in Columbus try to claim "lake effect" as the reason for their horrendous snowfall (which it is not). Having grown up on the shores of Lake Michigan, I just look at them with a face.
EDIT: And I notice your map doens't include Canada. Well played good sir .

You're on the northern part of the great lakes though. The wind pulls all the moisture away from you and down onto the southern part.
Prevailing wind direction there is southwest, not northwest.

I can't find Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II The Sith Lords in Steam at all. Or, in fact, anywhere for download (legally) on the web. So I've had to order it from amazon. But I wanted to download it, cause everytime I've ordered a game online for a physical copy, it doesn't work. Damn you Steam, for having the first game, and not the second! Mrmrmr. I liked the first one, I just finished it...I now know why people at the local gaming store talked about it. And wouldn't tell me a damn thing about the story.

heh, tried to kill myself 5 times between July 2000 and July 2003. Odd how suicidal depression never really goes away. Lurking in the background like an insidious wallpaper seeping into the desktop icons of life like an overzealous dye. I've done so well for over 5 years, but it's always been there and right now I want to die. How liberating is it to know what will grant you freedom, while acknowledging at the same time the shackles of human timidity and the denial of the means to that freedom? Yet ironically it's the fear of pain that denies me freedom from pain just as it always has done. Just as ironically, this very post will contribute towards the widening of the interpersonal distance that contributes toward my emotional isolation even as it reaches out vainly in a pathetic attempt to bridge that self same gap. Ohhh life, how you mock me. Let me not be.
