Do you have her role? Would what she does actually make a difference?

I don't have her role. I don't think the second question can be answered without giving away information. Like I said, thou hast been deceived.
Daganev2009-07-24 05:20:14
Maybe, it's just that the second night I "harrassed" noola, and was told that I cured her of her medication, so she was back to normal again. Which should have meant that she lost her special powers/conditions.
Noola2009-07-24 08:03:54
Sorry! I didn't get a chance to log in till now.

I've sent my role to Xavius. biggrin.gif

Hokay. End game.

Kiiiira said she was going to try to medicate Noola.

QUOTE
========================================================

Intern

You're just an intern. You have a 33% chance of prescribing medication correctly, and a 66% chance of giving someone too much sedatives.

Once a night, you may either PRESCRIBE MEDICATION or SEDATE someone.

By prescribing medication correctly, you make a patient calm enough to wish to stay in the psychward. You also make them lose any skills or restrictions they may have for the rest of the game.

By sedating someone, you make them calm and collected for one day, alleviating them of their role specifications for the night of use and that day.

Only one doctor may prescribe medication at night, and only one doctor may sedate someone at night.

You win with the Doctors.

The Doctors' win condition is that you win when there are no patients left trying to escape the psychward.

Zynna is un-lynchable.

QUOTE
========================================================

Diagnosis: Histrionic Personality Disorder

You're histrionic.

Everything is about you. You knew this already, though. Because of this, you're only allowed to vote for yourself.

Luckily, you take 1.5 the number of votes to be lynched. So if 4 people are needed for a lynch, you need 6.

You win with the patients.

========================================================

Noola can't save herself.

QUOTE
Diagnosis: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

You have post traumatic stress disorder.

The following trigger words will make you unable to post for the rest of the day:

little boy, war, death, die, vietnam, child, children, touch, battle, fight, bomb, gun, guns

You win with the patients.

Rolled the dice, Kira botched the medication. No lynch is possible without suicide. Next night, Kira can just continue to subject poor Noola to medication or sedatives until she's content or dead. Zynna will be all alone against Kira, then.

Doctors win!
Daganev2009-07-24 16:05:40
Next time I'm sticking with my gut sad.gif
Kiradawea2009-07-24 16:39:13
Actually, botching medication was the only way we could kill, which means that Rika's role was exceedingly worthless since she couldn't kill and successful medication... removes your post restriction. Oh and you may or may not be dead, except you could also be deculted from the cult you wasn't really in. I'm actually a little proud of myself for succeeding.
Zynna2009-07-24 17:09:22
I knew I was right to be suspicious! But I let myself got talked out of it. sad.gif

If Shaddus had voted for himself...ah well. That probably wouldn't have changed things either because we still couldn't have lynched Kira off.

Too bad I was more vanilla than the most vanilla townie...
Kiradawea2009-07-24 17:49:16
Well that's the whole point of being scum. Convincing others that you are not scum and honestly, this was pretty difficult for me. Rika rage-quitted and BaLi just faded away. Honestly, I think I did a pretty good job at this.

You certainly did.

The whole "not being allowed to respond" move was very ballsy. But I guess it's not that hard to do when half the town isn't really playing the game anyways.
Shiri2009-07-24 18:00:29
Which is the case in like every other mafia game here.
Kiradawea2009-07-24 18:08:12
It still left me pretty nervous. I kept checking the game, hoping you'd not have "ninja"-lynched me since last. Especially when I went to work or sleep and would have no chance to check the game for eight hours, and with Shaddus usually ninja-lynching at first opportunity... well it was a risky maneuver that paid off. Honestly though, I'm annoyed. My role was the best, and I still only had a 66% chance to actually kill at night. Add to that that you had essentially limitless deculting (which, if I had been any other role, would've made my nightactions almost worthless) and I really found myself wondering if it was worth even making an effort.

I also initially wanted to kill you earlier, since I had a feeling you had a power role (though I initially thought you were the investigator). Funny how those things work out huh? Still, it was fun. I think you could've nailed me if Aerotan and Esano had been a bit more insistant.
Daganev2009-07-24 18:15:19
hmm, I was under the impression that you wanted to cult people not kill them.

well you tried to kill me twice!

oh my actions:

Night 1: Nothing
Night 2: Noola (success in unculting)
Night 3: Zynna (no result, either not culted or doctor)
Night 4: Daganev (saved my skin)
Night 5: Noola (thought scum would go for a reculting since noola was assumed innocent at that point. Should have saved myself again instead sad.gif )
Kiradawea2009-07-24 18:17:27
It's cause the cult is worthless. They'll still want to eliminate us, they still win with the patients, and they don't count for winning. In essence, all it did (except add a counter to a "this many days to victory counter") was remove posting restrictions and, in some instances, the power that came with it.

This.

Also, the role PM made it sound like failed sedating did the killing. You had a 33% chance to cult (or 67% chance to fail), or a 67% chance to kill/33% chance to roleblock.
Kiradawea2009-07-24 18:45:09
Nope. We went through this with Myrkr many times. Culting did nothing to change behaviour or increase our chances for victory. Sedation was just a much weaker form of medication that either medicated for one day (successful) or medicated for one day and also made them unable to speak (unsuccessful)
Rika2009-07-24 22:22:53
I didn't ragequit to be honest. I was hoping people would just lynch Solanis after me. And as Kira said, my powers were pretty much useless. sad.gif

Almost worked! smile.gif or did it work? I can't remember which order we lynched solanis , bali and esano in.
Kiradawea2009-07-24 22:54:28
Ya didn't. We were going to lynch Solanis, but then BaLi went MIA and was lynched instead. Instead I had to medicate him (and luckily got a kill result) the night after BaLi was eliminated.
Unknown2009-07-25 00:33:03
Yeaah, after dying, was reading through. I was thinking, NOOOOO IT'S KIRA WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING!!?!

But good job.
Kiradawea2009-07-25 00:46:38
ORLY? tongue.gif And what, if anything, made you think that?
