Is there a version of the forums that are mobile phone friendly that we can post on? The current lo fi version doesn't allow you to reply to posts.

I've looked, and can't find one. I access the forums on my iPhone sometimes, but it's the full version, which is quite unwieldy on a small screen.

I use google to access the forums. I usually read the lofi version unless I want to reply which with the google version of it you can disable the images and all that. I have a Samsung Propel phone as well.

I can read and post on my blackberry, except when writing a reply, I've noticed I can't scroll up in the quick reply box, so posting from the phone isn't the greatest.

What do you mean you use google??

It's a pain to read the lofi version, then try to find the exact thread again in the regular version. specially for someone like me who likes to comment in multiple threads.

What I was asking, was if IPB has a seperate version of the forums that lusternia can use which is mobile phone friendly. (instead of just lofi)

Actually, you can access lusternia from (almost) any Symbian smartphone. All you need is PuTTY for Symbian which is an open source SSH client for symbian devices. With PuTTY you can connect to a remote SSH shell, from which you can open Telnet, IRC, etc...
I'm fairly certain that with a little research you can find a Symbian Telnet client as well.

As far as accessing the forums goes, I do the same. Read in lo-fi and post in full. Even though I have a Nokia N82 with not so huge screen(although decent resolution), I've never had problems.

P.S.
And why are links to sourceforge banned?

EDIT:
And iPhones should go right where rest of Apple stuff should... to hell.
Anyone even considering buying one should do some reading up, see just how wrong they are and get something decent... a nice HTC for example smile.gif

EDIT2:
After 5 minutes in google I found this.
MochaSoft.dk offers telnet client for -every- platform out there. From Win3.1 to MacOS to Symbian to Palm OS and Blackberry wink.gif

EDIT3:
After five more minutes I can say that I couldn't get the s603 version to work properly on my N82. I could connect to lusternia, but the screen was -way- off. Which makes sense, sort of, since the version is for E61 and other models with the e61-like screen...
