Elohora is the de-facto existance of Light. There is no light without Elohora, and no matter what Elohora is, she is the Light. Heck, even if Elohora was some horrible monster that made Gorgulu out to be the nicest tentacle monster in all of existance, she'd still be the Light. The teachings of the Light are the teachings Elohora and co have shared, and the emanations were of the light because Beauty was so similar to the Light. You can't have Light without Elohora. It's a fact by the power of definition.

On another note, I was browsing through my logs and ran into this, apparently Malicia's view on the Supernals.

QUOTE
Lady Malicia La'Saet says, "The Light does not exist in Celestia. It exists in
us. The Supernals are merely symbols, like statues, of what we live out daily.
The ideals we enact in our daily lives. So often have we come to their aid. So
often do they huddle together, uselessly, unable to budge from this land, their
home, their tomb for that matter. What use are the half-formed or the Gods even?
We are alone in this world, Celestians."

That probably needs some context, to be fair. Maybe she was just feeling particularly admin-trodden-on that day or something.

Yeah, I think Glom was in the middle of a Celestia picnic. Mostly what I was getting at was the first part, how the Supernals are mostly just icons or symbols of the light, and how it's "within us".

You should see the quote I have from Eventru about "sacrifice". I boggled IRL.
Kiradawea2010-01-04 17:02:57
Wasn't that in regards to the Raziela event, where all the supernals suddenly up and changed their behaviour completely because Raziela disappeared?

And either way, all Jazella is saying is that things have changed since the time I was threathened for suggesting I give a sermon to the Tahtetso. Good for them. Doesn't change history.

Well, it's the most efficient method of gaining XP right now... Which makes me sad, because Lusternia has so much more than that. Sitting on a siphon doing nothing is more than twice as efficient as influencing sad.gif

Well, siphoning may not be doing much, but others are doing a bit more effort too. Especially the pilot and the empath

It is also restricted by needing multiple people, a ship and aether willpower.

And with how the trading ships are, influencing is still the cashcow

I don't feel bad ranting this time!

Page Sert, of the Armies of Light stutters, "Xavialt."

read letter
You read what is written on an elegant white letter:
Xavialt,
I need you to contact my friend Setu. I am going to become dormant for a
while. Also by friend I mean well you know!
~Jac, Farewell

say I didn't do it
You say, "I didn't do it."

Page Sert, of the Armies of Light stutters, "Ha-aha!"

Page Sert, of the Armies of Light stutters, "Did you ge-e-et your letter?"

say I did. Strangely, it is not addressed from you.
You say, "I did. Strangely, it is not addressed from you."

Page Sert, of the Armies of Light stutters, "I know Jac messed up."

Page Sert, of the Armies of Light stutters, "It isn't Set-t-tu it is S-S-Sert."

ah
Comprehension flashes across your face.

I mean, really?

I... don't get it. :\\

P.S. Someone please teach the pyronewb horde that combusting every room in every bashing area does not = victory.

Suddenly being reminded that I didn't get an honors line for first GA of the aeros. Odd that I didn't notice it myself

On the other hand empathing (to me) is infinitely more fun than regular bashing or influencing.

And aether xp is good, but it's not overtly so - it's just enough to encourage people to actually use the aetherspace system (which is one of the cooler parts of Lusternia).

It doesn't happen automatically and the people who do it have a ton of stuff on their plates -- wait a few weeks and then message your patron if it's still not there. I didn't get mine for quite a while either.

It's not a terribly huge deal.

I'd just like to say that you can sum up Cririk's latest post as 'You are CR1, so you have no right to question a decision that could govern the safety of yourself and your fellow citiens - Cririk XOXOXOXOXOXO!'. This irritates me immensely.

You haven't figured that it's a Communist police state yet? Serves you right for abandoning us.
