Y'see, the reason they do it is that all the winners are people who have no use for more credits and therefore are that much less likely to buy them - the people who are still willing to pay get squat, and therefore there's an illusion of generosity but they actually hardly lose a dime. Would you rather have a lottery? Competition means there are winners and there are losers. Yes, Chaos is combat-oriented (which is not the same as demigod-oriented, mind you). So is War. Death is not, but Death strongly favors demigods. Life is rooted in the combat mechanics, but it's not a combat competition. Justice has perks for level, but it's not hard to take out a demigod using something like Treant's debate script at 80+ if you're comfortable with the mechanics. Harmony is going to be won by someone with trans influence, but one trans skill is not hard to come by through in-game means. That still leaves three that aren't biased even towards the mechanically oriented.

Pick the pieces apart before you start crying. The upper crust is not just demi = combatant = I lose.

Alright, maybe I should have said omnitrans/artied up instead of demigod. One is merely an enormous timesink, the other an utterly ooc means of success.

It's not so much that demigod makes you win events like this one, it's more that the kind of people who are skilled/dedicated enough to win events like this one tend to be dedicated enough to get demigod.

Take it from me, demigod and artifacts (and a class that does not require many credits) still does not make you win in fights. I never officially kept track but I promise atellus has been killed over twice the number of times he has killed.

Also I think it is actually relatively easy to achieve demigod. Anyone who wanted to could become a demigod by the next ascension event if that was their goal.

Inagin is pretty weak, demigod gave him no real advantage in this, and as for no sharing... Well you can drop hamsters and then have someone else pick them up.
