Hey, I didn't say it was good reasoning. But on the other hand, killing bards / scholars isn't exactly a great thing IC either, so I don't really feel like any of the participants here have much to stand on, heh.

And why not? It makes sense, even from an IC stand point, if you cannot have them why leave them to your enemied? No, kill them.
