I dunno, I survived as a rogue for a decently long time.
Looking over the skills I don't really see any major loss for a monk going rogue.

Without nexus-specific power a monk would lose access to several of their techniques, as well as boost (dunno how important boost is). They wouldn't be hit nearly as hard as most, though. The only class that is 100% effective as a rogue is a warrior tracker... though, if someone kills their hound they're SOL.

Can't use hound as a rogue tracker anyways.

Tervic was Sacraments warrior when he was rogue, but he did have the Astral boots.

You can be a rogue Sacraments warrior. What you cannot do is use any skill that takes X power (Pool) (which should be every power skill in Sacraments, I think). So any power skill in the skillset is a no-go. The warrior skills would still be fine, though.

Should try bugging that.

I suspect it's less intentional and more overlooked / forgotten about. Hence the suggestion to bug it.

Someone called Tervic a monk. That's why I posted.
EDIT: Oh wait, no they didn't. I think. It's very vague. I was confused.

Pfft, I procrastinated the whole way through and don't regret it.

For a second there, I wasn't sure if Celest could fail any harder than it did, but I have to say, I was delightfully surprised.
Now, let's see if the admin hold to their guns and turn the Star Council leafy as per precedent and, I believe, stated policy. Then, we can really have a party!

@ Allergic: Wait what?
Also, whatever happened in Old Glom that's bringing up such comparisions? I only vaguely remember some kind of OOC meeting about it, but that's it.

I'm proud to say that old school Glomdoring was never even remotely this bad. There are no more comparisons to make.

As a Failologist, I find this case to be an interesting one. I have a diagram:
That blackhole of failure will likely try to move north to sustain itself and go in a counterclockwise direction until it hits a white hole of awesome (said white hold needs to be at least 2 Shuyins or 3.95866 Desitrii, if you want to use standard units). It needs to begin moving however as Celest is running dry and the blackhole of failure is emitting between 5 Rybois and 6MegaKrins in pulses at random intervals. This so-called Casilu radiation (named after the one who discovered it) may bombard places across the Basin of life with failure particles moving with all the speed they can muster to escape the pull of Celest as the spiral shape of the city is causing people who try to get out to sometimes get sucked back in. All very fascinating.

WTF, Casilu. I happen to ENJOY Celest right now. I kick back, relax with some popcorn, and watch the fun. Though, it is coming to an end. I think that was the climax.
