Actually making very slow progress at getting basic skills of fighting, first being getting Conglut, but being about 115 lessons away from it...

Keep at it. Until then, use what guildskills you have and time you can spent practicing in the arena, etc.

My Aeromancy (and even when I had Druidry) is almost trans, I have all of the demesne effects (expect the 'cast all in one', damn you lesson lost) and I have Runes up to fable some where. My secondary skill has never really been up there as I didn't like Crow that much, being as I didn't fight really, thus Crow is mostly useless to me.

I have always had the main skill, and third skill, near trans, even way back when I didn't even know how basic melds worked.

I never explored the idea of Runes as an Aeromancer (instead just opting to use Telepathy) - good luck to you for trying it. Illusions + Phantasms is a very sound investment for Mages, on a sidenote.

Yea, Runes is left over from Druidry, I didn't want to lose even more lessons.

My mesa mobs disappeared without the mirror being up. Either it's a weird bug or some asshat is griefing me by killing the mesa.

People would frequently go in and wipe out both groups. I used to wipe out the Nomad camp for hunting even before the Mirror was introduced.

From where I sit, people don't even bother to ask for trackers for the many, many other things they'd be useful for, because there's never one around. The last thing Trackers can complain about is being unwanted.

Maybe you should ask for thunderchasm, electricchoke, or cloudcrucify.
